do you ever get invited back to the panel after being taken off because they dont need so many in your area now

    thanks for reading
  • I took myself off the panel last year because it was getting to much and I practically lived at the post office. They must need someone in my area because I have been invited back, despite me taking myself off the panel.

TNS have advised me that you may need to wait 6-to-8 weeks before you are invited back due to many people (supposedly) being on the survey in your area. For me, they have advised me that I have completed my retraining successfully so I will be back on the main panel.

The good thing is that I should be on the survey during xmas.

I did read somewhere, possibly on one of the pop ups when you log in, something like "some people have been writing notes on the envelopes noting sending times, do not do this". They really should make it more obvious, especially when receivers are discouraged from reporting because they'll lose out. Obviously the receiver is then identified by the postie, but maybe TNS could give a thank you gift, and a suspension, rather than blacklisting.

If it is absolutely necessary to report the poster for writing on the envelope etc and the receiver is then removed because they have been 'exposed', well the doofus at the other end should also be removed.

Common sense really - if you have to remind yourself of the posting dates then either use something that can be removed e.g. a post it note or write it on the calendar

Twice now I have asked for envelopes to return smarts, and still waiting for some to arrive.

I will probably need to return some smarts this weekend, as usually occurs.

Does anyone have the address where they need to be returned, and in case the envelopes aren't sent, I will send the smarts in another envelope.

Er no. You should get a diary as long as you have been on the survey in the 12 months before xmas/new year. You may have to chase for TNS to get it. I have got a diary for the last 3 years; even though I was not on the survey for xmas/new year.

In January this year, I got TNS to send me 3 lots of 12 1st class stamps as compensation for not sending me Xmas 1st class stamps for the previous 3 years, which are given to those people (as a bonus) that are on the survey during Xmas. I am expecting TNS to send me 12 1st class Xmas stamps this Xmas; otherwise I will be escalating to TNS.

The envelopes you return smarts in are protected to stop the smart signal being detected. So possibly not a good idea to return in an ordinary envelope.

    Thanks for the information.

Just checked and they want 14 smarts returning this weekend. I will have to phone and see what they say.

    Thank you

    Thank you
You will need 2 envelopes for them, up to 8 per envelope I believe.
