Aha - the ones at the back of a large stationers perhaps? That's a fairly recent (within 5 years) idea so maybe POCL have changed things. There will probably be a pillar box somewhere within a half-mile (*) but whether RM counts that as linked to the PO no-one knows (probably not TNS).

So, to complete the answer to sirbaksiu... if there's no box, there's no number to be added to your list and you can only record the sub-or branch PO as a posting location.

(*) 'cause Ofcom requires RM to have a box within a half-mile of 98% of addresses
I need to think of something new here...

  • Hi I have come to the end of my second stint on the main panel. Are the presentation stamps only given at the start or do you also get some at completion ?

You get a set with your last posting pack - I got the Shackleton and Endurance Expedition set this week plus the normal 1st and 1L stamps.
  • Thank you. I received the normal stamps but no presentation stamps about 2-3 weeks ago. Will see if they come in next 2 days and if not, will send them a nudge..Thanks for replying :)

    For Crying Out Loud...

I haven't got next week's posting pack. I have got a red "While You Were Out" card which says "too big for the letter box" - so that could be it but I can't get to the sorting office at the time it's open this weekend and RM can't re-deliver until Monday.

So I've e-mailed TNS to warn them and now the helpline e-mail is bouncing back.

Anybody want a place on the panel in SE postcodes? Seriously - this is now more hassle than it's worth; not just the usual TNS randomness but since changing jobs, I don't work in my home postcode so cubes require a bit of planning to get to a suitable post office on the right day. The stamps are convenient but not enough to counter all the rest - so I'm dropping out. Or I will when the e-mail works again...

Well they can. However the online set up has a 48 hr lead time.
If you have a number for the DO,they can redeliver tomorrow, even today dependant on area/duty structure.
  • In my local WHS they have the P.Box inside right next to the queueing line.
