I'd leave it if the smart doesn't arrive at the weekend, and post it the following Monday.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

Received today Medium Package with a 2SP label priced £2:80, it should have had a 1SP label priced £565. Last week I received a jiffy bag with 81p postage not £3:20 & recently a cube a cube that should have had an SP label that a user used their free stamps to cover the postage.
Don't the users realize that they could be leaving themselves open to fraud charges being made against them.

I've done that a couple of times (in god knows how many years of doing this), having arrived at the post office and forgotten the note which tells me whether it should be 1st or second class. I just send it whichever I think it is and if I've found it's wrong when I'm home I email to let them know of my mistake. They always say it isn't a problem, as long as I've told them.

We can't police everyone else's work, we can only do our best with our own.

On the other hand, I've received a cube with £3.30 APL affixed when it should have been £2.80 according to the R-number slip.
