Yep, spot on. If you're on the live panel it will probably show up in your Smarts list already. If you're training then they all use the same code and there's no need to log it until you send the item.

Thank you. I've just come out of my training period. If I go into "manage my smarts" there is nothing showing. Does that natter?

    Thanks again:)

You'll start to receive Smarts in mail you receive from other members which you will enter online and also at times some from TNS directly which will automatically appear online.

Don't worry about them now - once you really get into the posting/receiving things will appear clearer. Make sure you read all the information in your instructions and online, where there is lots of information.

    Hi everyone.

I have an item on my posting list for Thursday but I haven’t received any envelopes or the page to put the R number sticker? Does anyone know what I need. Thanks.

Try phoning TNS helpline but if no joy send them an email.

Make sure you put your PID and the subject in the heading.

post #2985 asked, "Do you have a problem actually getting to a PO (with the first part of your post code) on the day? If so, you need to contact TNS for advice."

You need to contact TNS directly as they are particularly keen that items are posted on the day of the week specified.
  • id chance it is just before the post office closes and you are sure the last post has been collected
...but if it is going to be a problem not being able to get to post office to post on date on schedule them you maybe you will have to let TNS know

If you have to pay for pastage the date and time will be shown on the apl label. The receiving panellist will input that information showing it was posted early.

    Best contact TNS

the main point of the postal panel directives is to post on the particular day specified on your scedule.

Ideally you should post within the particular time slot, however as long as the item is sent on the specified day you will not get a query raised for the item.

if you cannot post on the specific day you must hold the item to the corresponding day next week and so forth....

if there is a particular day that you would be unable to commit to posting on a regular basis for whatever reason I believe that you might be better to consider removing yourself from the postal panel.

The guidelines set out do insist that you post on the specified days...sorry.

  • For the first time I have to post items between 10 am and 1 pm at the Post Office and also at the Post Box which is a bit of a pain. I thought that there was only one collection a day from post boxes but must be wrong.
