My local postbox now as a sticker on saying collection not before 7am what does that mean,???? It could be collected any time of the day.

    Hi

It's explained in post 2750 and TNS also sent an email about it This might help: .Royal Mail has started putting notices on those post boxes that will be changing their last collection time. However, please continue to use the last collection time as displayed on the faceplate rather than the times on the notices when entering details of your sent items and post boxes on the website.

  • Just had an e-mail about received items. One line made me laugh:

Finally, we have added pictures of our items to the ‘Key Characteristics’ page of our website. This will make selecting the correct item type easier for our panellists.

Shows how dozy some of the panellists must be if they need these.

  • I regularly post items in one particular post box at 5.15 pm on my way home from work with no trouble. Last night I entered the details online and the last collection time came up as 4.45 pm (it has always said 5.30 before). I clicked the box to say I disagree with the time and entered 5.30 instead. But then when I entered that it had been posted at 5.15 pm obviously this wasn't accepted as they had 4.45 on their system. I had to say that I had posted it after the collection time, even though the plate on the box said 5.30. I posted today's letters on my way to work at 7.40 am and double checked the plate and it definitely says 5.30 pm. Do you think this means I will always have to post on way to work in the morning or will they update their system with the 5.30 time.

In that case you're supposed to fold a wodge of them in half, tuck them inside another one and post them back.

What is wrong with some panellists? I swear some of them are trying to get others removed from the panel!

Today I've received a medium parcel and the panellist thought that just one strip of normal sellotape across the top and the bottom was sufficient. Consequently the box got completely trashed in the post and as the postman is stood on my doorstep apologising for the state of it, we're both looking at the smart and the foam. To give you an idea of just how insecure and unstable that box was, the smart was actually stuck to the sellotape.

I suppose some panellists don't have the wit to use parcel tape because it doesn't get sent to them or because they don't get told to use it.

I'm now praying that the delivery office and my nice postman don't report me as a panellist.
  • If you were to get removed from the panel,(which I hope you don't) the sender of that box should be removed as well. That's how I would feel if it happened to me.

Email or phone them about it, the last collection time on the plate should be the correct one :)

  • hi all,
Today I've been unable to use the Daily tasks page on my Windows phone. Until a few weeks ago, i could use the whole of the site without problem. I was away for a few weeks so wondered if there were technical issues I'd missed? I've also read back over the past few weeks of forum pages but haven't found anything yet. I've also emailed TNS earlier but obviously won't get a reply until next week. please help :o
    TIA
