Hi all. I am doing the unaddressed mail survey for Royal Mail but I have a problem.
When I log in it will not let me choose 'unaddressed mail" option, simply won't let me click on it, nothing happens.
Am I doing something stupidly wrong does anyone know?
Thanks2 angels in heaven :A0 -

I cannot click on any options within the Daily Task page and I have to log into the survey twice.
Please try pressing the compatibility mode button. This will be the icon to the right of the web address that looks like a broken page.

Thanks you very much!2 angels in heaven :A0 -
Check your emails/website - I have just received invitation to Unaddressed survey from beg. Sept. Unfortunately I cannot accept as I shall be away but you might be lucky.0

Occasionally I need to send a parcel - either special delivery, or recorded delivery - through the Royal Mail.
However the P O assistants seem very reluctant to use the stamps I already own. They say that they have to use special stamps for these services. Last week the assistant agreed that I could use my stamps for the special delivery parcel, but I had to pay for stamps for the recorded delivery envelope!
It seems a shame that I have all these 'incentive' stamps, but the PO assistants are unwilling to let me use them.
Just wondered whether others have found similar difficulties when trying to spend incentive stamps for sending parcels at the P O.0 -

I also had to pay for a recorded delivery envelope rather than use stamps. Quite annoying as I had hoped to use up some of my Large letter stamps for once.0 -
The assistant allowed me to use my stamps for the special delivery, but wrote in large letters that I had requested to use own stamps.
It seems like they're doing you a big favour ...!0 -

That's interesting - how did they produce the bar code/reference for the special delivery?
As this had come up, I have just phoned RM to be told that for both recorded and special delivery you need to pay cash so that a bar code label for your receipt and for the envelope can be printed. Also told it is not possible to produce this any other way!!0 -
Ive never used anything but stams on all the post I send through...with the exception of when I have had to send via parcel force.
i have used signed for tracked and special delivery...in fact I sent something signed for this morning and paid using stamps ...a combo of first and LL and I think the overpayment was 4p...which the po counter woman seemed more bothered about than me!!frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!

redagila - I'm not sure how the assistant produced the bar code, she seemed to be typing on her computer, and not sure what she was doing.
Thanks for phoning Royal Mail, at least it clarifies the situation.
LEJC - Thanks for your comments. Occasionally I have taken in parcels, and depending on the assistant, there hasn't usually been an issue.
Sometimes it seems to depend on how 'picky' they are.
Like everyone on the posting panel, we have all these postage stamps, and it seems to be becoming more difficult to use them!0
