    Really you have 2 options.

    1. Refuse to pay & accept it, if you can tell it is a test item and you are not prepared to pay the £4.60.
    2. Pay the money and deal with the item and send TNS an email asking them for reimbursement of the cost. It has previously been reported on here that they will reimburse in these situations.

    Thanks a lot :)

So I got a card today that tells me that I need to pay a fee to receive an item. I believe this is a test item [but am not 100% sure].

I'll have to pay £4.60 for it, including the £1 service charge.
If it is a test item, what should I do?

If it is a test item and you refuse to accept it, RM will need to open the pack in order to try to return it to the sender. This would show that you are on the panel.

So it would be best to pay and then claim from TNS. They would probably send you postage stamps (rather than other forms of payment) to the value and you yourself can also use postage stamps to pay for the retrieval if you have some available.
  • hi all I have been on the test period for a few weeks now. Today I have received 2 different items (a Box and a letter). This is the first time ive had these but both going back to the Swan Lane address.
Logged on today to enter the received items but I cannot find the R numbers for them. Is it the R numbers on the stickers I enter ??
Sorry to sound thick but I have not been well and ive forgot what im doing lol. I blame my meds !!
Also are you meant to be sent the tape to tape the box up ?

Today I received an email saying that my six months was coming to an end in two weeks however I am still waiting on reimbursement for posting three cubes, the first was back in April.

However at least all these stamps will come in useful when I get my home cleared up a bit and put some things on Ebay. :j :money:

The R number is on the sticker and is located on the bottom left. Do not enter the R just the numbers. If it still does not accept this I would drop TNS a line. I have sent 3 emails in the last 3 weeks and they have got back to me via email within a few days. Good luck.

These are items that you have received in your posting pack to send out. They do not have to be entered by you as received.

When you post them out according to the posting schedule you will have received with them you enter the details in the view posting plan and sent items in your daily task.

Some participants have reported receiving a roll of tape. Maybe they send this when you have completed training. Do you have any tape you can use this time or would this mean your having to buy some?
