I've just had a reply to my email re the incentive for my May cube to say they're being prepared for dispatch next week, in case anyone else is still waiting.
And they were lying! This weeks envelope has arrived and no incentive. How long is it taking other people now?All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -

I interpreted their email as being prepared to send out next week rather than with next week's papers. I had already received the envelope enclosing next week's schedule.
Patience has to be a virtue with TNS!0 -

That was a generous interpretation.
elsien reported on Friday 27 June that they had said they were "being prepared for despatch next week". I would interpret that as a proposal to send out in the course of the week ending Friday 5 July (as they don't work over the weekend). Even by second class mail they should have arrived by Tuesday 8 July.
Another interpretation - "next week (ie w/e 5 July) we will prepare them for despatch but when we actually send them is another matter entirely".0 -

OK - as usual different people are given different information but for £2, personally I am not going to get worked up about when I receive the incentive, as long as it arrives. There are far more important life-threatening things happening in my life at the moment which makes a £2 incentive very, very minor.
We all know TNS is a completely disorganised company and if we take part in this survey, I think you just have to accept that. I have been part of this for a number of years now and there has been no improvement - made worse, in fact, when the lovely Joanne left.0 -
Disorganised is fine, as you say we are all used to that. However I would like to be sure that the incentive is going to arrive at all. £2 is indeed very small in the general scheme of things, but as I am going to be jobless by the end of the month and am now awaiting three incentives "every little helps."All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Sorry to hear about your work situation - hope you find something new quickly. I can understand that you want to know the incentive will arrive but I have never not received a reward from them even though they may need more than a gentle reminder (always polite of course!) & that has been the same since I started with them.Disorganised is fine, as you say we are all used to that. So I got a card today that tells me that I need to pay a fee to receive an item. I believe this is a test item [but am not 100% sure].
I'll have to pay £4.60 for it, including the £1 service charge.
If it is a test item, what should I do?0 -

Really you have 2 options.
1. Refuse to pay & accept it, if you can tell it is a test item and you are not prepared to pay the £4.60.
2. Pay the money and deal with the item and send TNS an email asking them for reimbursement of the cost. It has previously been reported on here that they will reimburse in these situations.0
