If not, when entering the items on the TNS website, just mark it as not containing a smart and post as usual.
But I don't think that is what the official line is - I think that is "if a Smart is indicated and you don't have one to include, don't post until the next week (when you should have received a Smart to include)".
I also thought TNS sent out the Smarts separately quite often so they could turn up before the actual posting date.0 -
Can anyone advise? I posted something today, but when I try to enter the post box as a new method, it doesn't come up?
If it helps, it is outside a sub office that has recently re-located, but it looks like the post box is still being used and had todays day showing on it.I Hate Jobsworths!!!0 -
Did you try with the street name when searching for it?0

Yes, its sort of on a corner, so I tried the main road I thought, then the street on the other corner and nothing.Did you try with the street name when searching for it?
Would it be ok to just enter a different postbox I've used before?
I thought I'd ask here first seeing as it's near impossible to get a quick reply from TNS.I Hate Jobsworths!!!0 -

So, as you are not handing it over at the sub-office, what was the box ID? Is that not recognised by the system?
Do not report having used a box you did not use on this occasion.0 -
I do wish they would update the golden smart winners list. It was last done on the 6th May.0

Just two quick questions....
So to clarify, on my posting schedule it says "Post Box" and another is "Post Office" ... This means both go in the box? Just referring to the FAQ at the start of the post stating nothing goes over the counter.
Also, states to post both after 1pm collection but before final.
My collection times are 4.45pm and 6pm, so does it matter which ?0 -
The schedule said to post it in a post box. I took a photo of the front of the box, and have the correct box ID. Various boxes in the town come up but not this one.anamenottaken wrote: »So, as you are not handing it over at the sub-office, what was the box ID? Is that not recognised by the system?

If it says post office it's ok to post in the box outside post office. I only hand over the counter if it's too big or needs paying for.
As long as you post before the last collection on the post box you are using you can post any time. So if the last collection on that specific box was 4.45 pm, you'd have to post before that; if the last collection is 6, then any time up till 6 is fine. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -

If you email them, you should get a reply but it may not be quick. I had to do it once, and did get it sorted but I think it took a couple of weeks. You might be better trying to get them on the phone if you can.All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
