• Hi, hope someone can help.... I posted my 'cube' item at the post office (they took it over the counter)...BUT I am now unable to enter the details online!! - when I enter the post office in my 'selection of posting method' a message in red states

"The item selected is either a cube or medium parcel that cannot be sent via post boxes, please amend". ????
I'm not sure what I'm meant to do - any ideas??
Thanksxx

Hi, not just being lazy, have gone back a few pages but can't see what I am looking for. I have to post a medium box and the paperwork say I have to pay cash over the post office counter for what we call an Automated Postage Label ( APL ). I presume I have to ask for one of these labels instead of stamps is this right. I posted a cube a couple of weeks ago and think it said the same thing but I just bought stamps for this. I guess this was wrong. can anyone put me right please.

When you go into the post office, don't ask for stamps. Ask to send the item and they should ask you to place it on the scales to check the weight/price and then print the APL off and attach it for you.

It might be that they are unable to print an APL, eg they may have run out of labels or the printer may be faulty. In this case you will have to use stamps, but that is out of your control.

Whenever I send a parcel with the post office they print out an APL, I think they will only give you stamps if you actually ask for them.

Can anybody confirm if they have received the £2 L2S incentive (not £4 reimbursement) for an APL item that they posted in April yet?

I've had my first May posting pack and incentive stamps but no extra £2 L2S for the APL item I posted in April.

This is the reply I received when I emailed them

The incentive vouchers are dispatched at the end of the following month. If you posted the item in March this will be approximately at the end of April. Please let us know if you have not received yours by the second week of May and we will look into this further for you.

Could you please advise me on posting, I was on the
retraning then told I was being put on hold again as
no place in area yet, but I still have one packet to send
to west brom that should have been sent on Tuesday
but I had no smart.
So the question is if I still have no smart this Tuesday
do I send it anyway or keep it back again
i did this and sent it the 2nd week and selected No Smarts included / available BUT later that week got an email from them saying in future hold onto the mail till one becomes available

I have registered for Royal Mail survey a while ago and have been invited to the Unaddressed Mail survey. Then I had to change my address and they told me to re register with a new address, and then I have been invited to the same survey again. However I didn't get any confirmation email and when I logged on, I wasn't taking part in it.

Now I can log onto my account and change details etc but that's all. Is there a way to sign up for what you are doing / posting the smarts etc or do I just have to patiently wait for an invite?
