Evening all, I'm a new panellist but after reading through a dozen or so pages, thought it would be useful to share my experience.

During my training period, I posted an item outside of my postcode area - when I couldn't register the Post Office, I emailed the helpdesk. They suggested I log the parcel as posted in my postcode area and noted that they would make a note at their end.

Last week was the last of my trial and my pack didn't arrive. Again, I emailed the helpdesk and they thanked me for letting them know and suggested that I post on the same days the following week if it did arrive. Very prompt response, and helpful.

This is my first 'live' week and I've got six items to post. I've also had a courtesy call to check that everything is okay and I'm comfortable with posting the cube.

All in all, a good experience.

I'd recommend that you don't get too caught up with the specific times that they state for posting, as they have been content with me posting before the last collection as long as it's on the correct day.

If you can get to a Post Office before they close, or post box, I'd recommend it as a great way to fill your purse with stamps!

I know this isn't anything to do with Royal Mail but I received 3 letters delivered by TNT yesterday. Only one of them was for me. As the driver had parked his car by my drive I waited for him to come back and gave him the 2 letters back. He just laughed and said he had seen the number 7 and assumed they were all for me!! They were for 2 other roads not even close to where I live. At least he had got the correct town! If I hadn't been in what could I have done with the letters? I couldn't put them in a post box, could I?

Most of them go through the letterbox, they're A4 brown envelopes - it depends how many items you have in them. Occasionally one won't fit through mine so they'll knock. You don't have to sign for them.

I've never had one so big it wouldn't go through; I have had it split between 2 A4 browns though when there was a CD box or Cube to be assembled.

Got a while you were out card yesterday... So I guess I've got an incoming cube to pick up.
I need to think of something new here...

That's exactly what I would do. Smarts going back through Post Office would be tracked then.

I'm doing the training weeks at the moment and had to answer the door to receive a big brown envelope with a diy cube box and foam in. They've included a letter to say they thought they'd ease us in to the survey by sending us some different items to send... so now I have the inconvenience of having to make and hand over a cube at the post office just to send it back to West Bromwich. At least they included two cardboard smarts this time so I don't have to wait for them to arrive seperately (though I am still one behind.)

Sounds like the training is slowly changing then. I think it will have people in training sending APL items soon then.

No one answered my question yet, can someone please help? I've been invited for the unaddressed mail survey in the past, now I have an account on the website but not currently doing anything.

Do I need an invite to do what you guys do ie. posting smarts, etc.? Or re register? Thank you!!
