I managed to speak to someone on the telephone helpdesk yesterday about the absence of posting packs I expected to receive, and he said that there had been a large influx of new people on the panel, and that this was causing problems as they have not increased the number of staff on the project.

Although I had given them plenty of notice of my holiday, they had not picked up on it and continued to send training material whilst I was away. When this was not returned in a timely manner they removed me from the main survey, even though they had allocated 5 items for w/c 3rd March and another 5 for w/c 10th March. The guy I spoke to has put a note on my account and said that I should be put back on the full survey, although this might take a couple of weeks to be processed.

I will wait and see what happens.

    Afternoon all
    Another question?

Today I received my first LWE from another member. I happily entered it as received. They are saying I should have received a smart and to look again. Def. no smart.

Any way, my question - now I have received the LWE and entered as recieved do I now throw the LWE away? Do they want the letter back?

    Thanks for any help.

Difficult to believe all the problems that new members of the panel seem to be experiencing at present.
I thought I was doing alright - then last week I got a jiffy bag with the paper removed and date and time of posting written on back flap. This week's posting pack has a missing envelope - the item is crossed out in biro on the paper copy but the online version insists it should be there. No response from helpline yet.

Mind you - I have noticed a tailing off from 4 or 5 items to 1 or 2 as I approach the 6 month rest so perhaps there is a bit of organisation going on.
I need to think of something new here...

1- do i fill in on the website everyday, continuous (other than sunday when i get no post) not just for 3 wks
and 2-unless requested, said post is only recorded and not sent back in big grey plastic "envelopes".

    Thanks in advance, Dooey

if your on leaflet drop, I think it has the 3 weeks main weeks but sometimes has another 2 weeks option, so worth checking.

2 - some areas you have to send your leaflets back, so if that is the case i would send back after the 3 weeks, normal posting doesn't need to go back, x

Remember that it is not just what is delivered by Royal Mail which is counted for the D2D/unaddressed mail survey. In my area leaflets are delivered on Sundays too.

Thanks for the two replies, i just needed to confirm whether i always fill it in despite no e-mail requests to join a specific dated survey??
TBH up til now for the last 2 mths i have filled it in everyday not realising it might just be separate 2 or 3 wk surveys only!!

First, can I ask if you have received any £5 vouchers for completing the unaddressed survey during this 2 months?

Normally, you are invited to complete for 3 weeks and this gives you a £5 voucher. At the end of the invitation dates, your page will not show the dates for the following weeks so I am surprised that you can continue to enter this data.

If your page is continuing to include more weeks and you haven't been actually invited to continue, I would contact TNS to check whether there is a glitch.

I took part in the first (or very early) round of this survey. It was possible to add information for the two weeks after the three survey weeks. I think the weeks were there because the expected RM-delivery items could have been received during the later time (although all mine were received in the appropriate week and reported as such) and they dropped off week-by-week.

I haven't participated for a little while (since last summer) so perhaps the additional weeks are no longer available.
