Well if you don't care about giving your customers a shoddy courier why expect them to care about you.

Good for you, another tightwad hoping to save a couple of pounds a week, doubt I'd be buying your tat so you'll be OK :).

It's the buyers saving money though..not the seller!

Actually, the difference in prices in my last post are wrong, as I will of course be giving MYhermes free and charging RM as the additional cost plus my additional eBay fees..so on a free postage item my buyers can elect to pay an additional £4+ for Royal Mail and my stars will be automatically 5*. I won't get a single penny more, but buyer will be paying considerably more than those choosing MyHermes.

At least they'll have a chance of receiving it in one piece or simply just receiving it. Buit I guess alot depends on who your customer base is as to what they see as acceptable.

Are you sure you are understanding how it works on eBay? The only person out of pocket in case of loss or damage is the seller...or perhaps as a seller you do things differently.

It is still light and it is August. Kids are waiting for their parents to call them to bed.

lol, do you lot always use your mod privileges to remove replies that don't agree or make you look foolish but happily leave your own insulting insinuations up. I guess if you got those powers it'd be a shame to waste them :)

Its up to the recipient to ensure they have an accessible delivery point
you have no idea how much of a pain in the chuff it is dealing with flats you cant gain entry to
If you start phoning them, they will never get the intercom etc fixed!

when did i say they do call them

    read what i stated
ask for recipients phone number in case they need to contact them and wont allow you to continue unless you add a phone number.

the booking is nothing to do with delivery
The couriers arent supplied with phones and as the OP said
they expect the courier to call them because they have no method of allowing the courier entry
nor have the had one for a year
