Result! Seller has just called and Hermes have agreed to redeliver between now & 8 pm tonight. Thats more like it. i shall be having words about the blank card though....

Neither the telephone number nor the email address is a required field when booking a parcel.

It has always asked me which i have booked my hermes through parcel2go, but now for a little extra i use citylink

Ah, that might be it then. I book direct with MyHermes.

OP, in future sign up to Twitter and tweet. Most of these courier companies have very good Twitter accounts and don't like adverse publicity.

Anyway... it never did turn up last night. Card this morning gives it a new twist.

Reads ' Parcel has been left at depot. Won't ring as my phone not a work on'

What use is a delivery driver without a phone???? I don't even know where the depot is. Can't get any sense out of Hermes themselves, they just want to blame the retailer but the driver employed or whatever by them is using their company stationery, of course I am going to call you too. Retailer gets fibbed too as well.

I don't even know where the sepot is in town. I know it's here though!!!

well you have a computer, use google and then google maps once you have the exact post code.

Hermes delivery drivers are self employed.....and there lies the problem they use own car/fuel/phone and get paid peanuts
What sort of service do you expect

Can I ask why the prickly rude attitude? It actually isn't that easy to find as they moved at the beginning of the year. Google is not as accurate with that kind of info as you obviously believe.

I've always had this issue with this lot. I normally order from those that don't use them! My heart sank when I was told it would be them. KNew it would end up a circus!!!
