DM had mine since 30th to !

I know how u feel @demented_scots_lass i cannot take the waitin either and im same when phone goes or postie comes i just want to know so i can move on instead of been in limbo xx

It's horrible isn't it? Even if it was a no I'd just move on to the next step but the not knowing is worse. I am hoping you get a decision soon, hopefully tomorrow might be your turn, good luck and I really hope you get the award you are entitled too :-) xx

I cannot believe this chaos is still going on.

Good luck to all who are waiting.

You can tell a lot about a woman by her hands..........for instance, if they are placed around your throat, she's probably slightly upset. ;)

JUst made my 3rd call of the day and wow.. They have made a decision... BUT.. it has now gone to the case managers manager.. !!!!!!...Nothing on the system so they can't tell me. Should only be a couple of days now.. probably tomorrow. Fingers crossed
well i came across a post I think it was on here or youre able it was about esa but the claim went from case manager to the managers manger because the award was too long it was readjusted to a shorter period then awarded.i presume its the same with pip like an internal double check to keep costs down.

    Hello All

I'm on DLA and it finishes next March, I will then have to renew my claim but for PIP. My DLA was for 5 years. I have high rate mobility and care, so what happens in March do I just lose my money and car or do they ask me to reapply for PIP before that?

    TIA

You'll be invited to claim PIP 20 weeks before DLA ends. DLA will continue as long as you've sent the forms off in time.

The key words are 'sent the forms off in time". I sent mine off recorded delivery signed for. Cost £2 something. It meant I had proof of not just sending it, but them receiving it. I had no problems but I do know of people who've been told their forms didn't arrive in time when they sent them off well within the limit. Make sure you scan/photocopy the forms too so you've got a precise record of what you put on them.

by the sounds of it most people have had a dated letter around 2 weeks after there assessment was received so you should probably have one by the end of this week and will be dated 13th or 14th may.
