  • Come Friday I will be paying off two debts, bank of dad = £1500 and overdraft =£900 this is way earlier than expected but a grievance I put in at work about being underpaid has given come back with a £3000 oweing! It's fab knowing 2 debts will be repaid, just one more to go that's a nationwide cc with a balance of £3500! Can't wait to be debt free because I will then have an extra £500 a month spare!!

  • Over the last 2 months I have paid off the following thanks to a banking error in my favour which has got me off to a great start:

    £500 HSBC overdraft
£2700 Ambrose Wilson catalogue and account closed
    £500 Evans and account closed
£1700 Argos card, balance of £82 left on BNPL

Still have a long way to go but have just been granted 2 0% balance transfer cards over 3 years so this will be helpful.

I have paid the last £41.08 on my Argos card and now owe them nothing!

Next is the £95 to Halifax which was the residual interest following the balance transfer which will be paid next week. The account has long been closed and card cut up years ago.
