Just paid off the remaining balance on my HSBC Credit Card. Will now close it.

Am going to pay off the £700 balance on my Aqua card on the 15th December and then close it. Just 1 more card, and 1 more overdraft to go until I'll be debt free. Am definitely on a mission... :)
  • Keep up the good work :)
  • I was going to pay off the monthly credit card bill (high this month) but since the interest is higher on the loan I decided to pay the loan off instead, should be easier to pay the credit card off as extra cash comes in so a double bonus!

Hope to pay credit card and car HP off by end of February then debt free!
  • I am new to the Forums having just signed up to the Seal Pot Challenge.....

But I have been facing up to my debts since the end of July.

So far I have managed to pay off my:
    • Next Account
    • My K and Co Account
    • My Capital One Credit Card
Which leaves my Barclaycard and my Santander Credit Card, both of which are on 0% and should be cleared by this time next year!

Keep on going guys, it's a great feeling !!

Just cleared the remaining £650 off my Natwest card and closed it down! Now to start on the mortgage!
  • Hi Everyone,

Been in crippling debt for a long time but just managed to pay off:

    £19000 Loan with Nationwide
    £3900 Halifax Credit Card
    £2650 Nationwide Overdraft

Cannot even explain how good it feels to be clear of that lot. Just got one Barclaycard with £6000 on it to go and then onto the wealth building section of the journey.

Good luck to everyone with banishing the debt forever. Keep going, it can be done.
