Tomorrow I'll have paid the final payment of a £2000 family loan :yay
Then I'll be down to my final debt which, fingers crossed, should be done by August at the latest all going well.

  • Today I have paid my very last personal loan payment! It has been £450 a month and over the past few years it's been a real bind so I'm incredibly pleased to see the back of it!

    Hurrah!

I've just paid off ............ the last of my loans.

About 4.5 years ago, I was in debt to the tune of c £15,000.

Now, I have nothing but everyday bills (Rent, CT, Utilities, car etc.) to pay.

    That is fantastic!

This is like losing weight, the closer you get to 0% fat/debt the harder it becomes.

Just about to close my Barclaycard Transfer Card and also my Luma Credit Card today. Debt paid off collectively £1800 on those two bad boys!

Gonna get a 0%'er so I can get rid of the OD's and pay of the sum in one go.

    Next target is:
    TSB OD: ~£400
    Barclays OD: ~£800
    Tesco CC: ~£2500
    Barclays Loan: ~£5000

I'm getting there, then at least i will be able to save for a new car and a new house.

    Debt Update: £4,617 :j:j:j

Start of Mission to eradicate debt (July 2013): £13,600

Target: Debt free by Dec 2014 (exc mortgage)
