It is a good idea but you have to have something more fun than that sometimes.

I suppose you're the oracle on having fun, aren't you SP? ;):p

I'm beginning to wonder why I bothered to start this thread.

Yes, I drink alcohol and more often than I should. But there are occasions when I can't, such as when I'm driving or when I go to a pub at lunch time but have lectures/work etc in the afternoon. There are also a lot of students who don't drink alcohol for religious purposes.

It might not seem like such a huge saving but every little helps....at least I won't have any debts when I graduate! :p:D

I do know how to have fun from time to time. No one is objecting to you saving the pennies, but you have to have variety in life for it to be fun.

In their defence, I think that was being abit harsh! It didn't seem like a racist post to me...
    Gypsy
    1) A member of a people that arrived in Europe in migrations from northern India around the 14th century, now also living in North America and Australia. Many Gypsy groups have preserved elements of their traditional culture, including an itinerant existence and the Romany language.
    2)See Romany (sense 2).
3)One inclined to a nomadic, unconventional way of life.
4)A person who moves from place to place as required for employment, especially:
A part-time or temporary member of a college faculty.
A member of the chorus line in a theater production.

It seems abit clear that they were referring to gypsy as in the third definition by saying "moving out your flat/house and living in a caravan in a layby somewhere". I wasn't inclined to think about European migrants from northern India when I read it.
They say you can't put a value on life... but I live it at half price!
