I am guessing the next reply will be someone saying that if you take your own mug into a pub with you then drinking can at last be free..

can no one tell me a pub where they pay me to drink .

 Exactly why I was asking what's the point in going to a pub to drink cordial + lime

I actually bought one of these yesterday when I'd spent all my money on booze and paying off the pool table bill. Wasn't bad. Got it free as barman made it with 1/2 Pepsi 1/2 Cordial + lime by mistake. Too !!!!!! to care. :rotfl:

The point of going to the pub and drinking lime/blackcurrant/orange and soda/ tap water is to be sociable with your mates. I do drink but sometimes I go to the pub and don't drink alcohol and I reckon if you can't stand the notion of socialising with your mates while sober you probably should think about trading them in for a new set.

I love socialising with my friends (well most of them ;) ) but socialising with drunk people whilst you are sober can be very trying and annoying at points.

its hillarious! plus you always remeber what people got up to and if they were really drunk, you can wind them up telling them they did stuff they never did. i never drink and always have a good time :)
