For those of you who don't already know, you could save yourself £££ at a pub by ordering a lime and soda instead of other drinks.
Somebody pointed it out to me the other day and I ended up paying only 45p for a lime and soda compared to about £1.40 for a glass of coke! And that was in London! A real money saver! :money:

It's not just lime - its any cordial and some places don't even charge for it.0

Asking for a coke is also cheaper than asking for a pint of coke.
But... homebrew is cheaper and has alcohol in it!!!0 -

its true you get less, but the price reduction is not in proportion to the volume reduction.0 -
TapWater's cheap as chips as well in most places... usually start drinking this towards the end of the night when i don't have any money and am dehydrated because I've sweat off liters of water because of jumping around too much :j:j:j
Also "tanking up" at home (from cheap supermarket or offiie/offy) or in a cheap pub is a good idea before a night out.0 -

depends on establishment - I've seen halves of coke costing 3/4 the price of pints of coke.0 -
There was a thread on cheap drinks at pubs aged ago a good idea as if you're the one driving or need to drive later one etc you don't want to pay lots out for expensive drinks - save it for the stuff you drink at home later!
We came up with lots of drinks also pointed out many pubs put the list of prices behind the bar or high up so it can't be seen. Thanks OP0 -
i dont drink either and when im in teh pub i often have cordial with tap water- a pint is only 30p:T The best things in life are FREE! :T0
