You conveniently missed highlighting the very first word in soolin's post which is 'If' so complain away to MSE.

The suggestion is there, that is enough, although the word 'if' is used, I've already stated (in this thread) that I haven't been taken to court, plus this poster is the board guide (i.e. representative) of MSE for this section, not some random poster.

You are perfectly free to report my posts , however your own posts support my view and I did suggest you removed them before you caused issues for yourself.

Unless your real name is "Road_Hog" accusations of libel are stretching it. You do claim to be on your third Paypal account, there's a level of dishonesty there surely? Or at the very least immorality.

This is a board offering advice to consumers, a lot of your 'advice' has been how sellers can avoid giving refunds and that Paypal won't take legal action on a negative balance.

Nope 'If' does not make a suggestion. The Board Guide argument fails as BG's opinions are their own and not MSE''s. If I know that why don't you?

As a start what about the two insurance policies on one car thread that demonstrated what you said was wrong? You never did manage to get back to reply on that, did you?

Tick tock earthstorm...I can link to the thread if you'd prefer that to speak for you?

well this is also from the OFT
You are not allowed to send back the following
computer software, CDs or DVDs if they are unsealed
personalised / made to order items (for example an engraved item)
perishable items such as food or flowers
goods or services where the price depends
on changes in the financial markets
    newspapers or magazines
goods which, by their nature, cannot be returned.
Last point applies to web hosting as the buyer does not own anything to return, web hosting is where a buyer will for a monthly/annual fee hire space on a server, so what can they return. NOTHING.

    just google DSforcustomers_rightsbuying1-1.pdf

So if the buyer gets nothing, what goods are you supplying then? Or are you supplying a service?

You must admit that that OFT document you linked to can only be an overview. It is only one page long.
I really do think you would be wise to read the 44-page OFT doc I linked to, but it is only me saying that... a nobody on an internet forum. :D

web hosting is a service of providing space on a server for end users/businesses to display their websites. so it is nothing that can be physically returned, they can cancel by completing a cancellation form and if they do this within the first 7 days they will get a refund less anything like domain registrations if ordered as these are registered by a domain registrar in the users name and cannot be cancelled once registered.

that page i linked is the one that refers to my business. I also have a copy of

I could also post your ebay seller details along with your address and phone number but I won't.

For someone that works with other peoples personal details, you are extremely lax with your own.
(and no, I haven't done anything underhand. All of the information is easily viewable from the details you have chosen to post on these forums)
