    No they banned/stopped automatic downloads.

Web Hosting/online businesses is a large part of ebays listings if you check, with its own category https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/Businesses-For-Sale-/

Unless your real name is "Road_Hog" accusations of libel are stretching it. You do claim to be on your third Paypal account, there's a level of dishonesty there surely? Or at the very least immorality.

This is a board offering advice to consumers, a lot of your 'advice' has been how sellers can avoid giving refunds and that Paypal won't take legal action on a negative balance.

There is no dishonesty there. I have been very upfront and honest with ebay/paypal. I use my real name, my real address and my real bank account. I don't see anything immoral about what I have done, I've not tried to hide anything from ebay or deceive them. I have merely questioned their business practices and ask them to take it to court for arbitration - which they have declined and you have to ask yourself why.

This company like Starbucks, Google, Amazon et al, has engaged in tax avoidance, and whilst perfectly legal, could be questioned as immoral, in fact Starbucks got so embarrassed/worried about it, offered to pay millions of pounds in tax. So don't talk to me about the morality of dealing with ebay/paypal whilst our economy is going in to the dirt because large corporations won't pay their fair share of tax, whilst telling us that we're bad sellers for charging a couple of pound extra on postage.

How many years ago? (Has the time period for chasing of debts expired yet?)

Approximately 5 years ago. I'm not up to speed on the time limit for chasing debts.

It's 6 years for them to be able to do much, although they (or anyone they sell it to) can chase it for as long as they like.

Road Hog you say on anothe thread that your funds are being held by paypal and so you are not sending goods until those funds are released- does this mean yet another 'new' account when your stars get trashed by those buyers. Or might it just be that paypal have an inkling that you are running your accounts again against their T and Cs.

You are the one telling us all off for pandering to ebay, yet none of us are having anywhere near the issues you have. I still have all the same accounts I started with 11 years ago..plus some new ones I have opened on the way all linked to the original paypal account.

Yes, absolutely true. I've had a call to their Indian call centre today. I'm not sure what part of, 'if I've not been paid, then I'm not going to send my goods, that you don't understand'.

I make no apologies for a tax avoidance company that hangs on to my money and earns interest payments from it. I don't apologise for a company that wants to cream money from postage and then suggests that sellers who try to do the same by keeping their costs down are evil.

I'm going to make this really simple, I don't like people who support a company that avoids paying tax. I don't like a company that wants customers to pay extra charges on top of costs. Which part of ripping off customers do you not understand?

    ?

The buyers have paid though and your stand off merely inconveniences them, neither ebay or paypal care .
