I spoke to our vendor on the phone a couple of times about their conveyancer, who frustrated them as much as us. However, they'd passed us their number for this kind of thing at the start and I always started with profuse apologies for having to disturb them

Tomorrow morning I'm just going to tell my solicitor if I've heard nothing in 48 hours its off, There are plenty of properties to choose from in my area, I'm all ready to move moneys sat ready, I'm fed up of having zero say and playing other peoples games. This whole process has taken any enjoyment out of the house and any plans I've had for it.

i don't understand why everyone would be so upset to receive a facebook message from someone, why would you accept a friend request from someone if you don't want them to contact you?

If your message showed that sort of attitude at all, I'd seriously consider refusing selling to you.

Honestly, I understand that you are frustrated and you have reason to be, but the seller often has an EA for several reasons - not least being to stop the buyer bugging them personally. The sellers have a wedding in less than 2 months, if I recall correctly, the biggest day of their lives. You screaming the odds at them, all guns blazing, may well have the opposite effect than you wish.

I'd not sell to you out of principle.

There are a few people on this home buying/selling board who act like petulant children. I've never bought in a chain but my parents did, and from having an offer accepted in September we didn't move in until 23rd December. These things take time, your brash attitude and facebook message would be enough for me to refuse to sell to you.
