Ok, sorry for rattling on here, but my word, just tried out our new Karcher window cleaner thingy, it is flipping brilliant! What would have previously been fairly hefty work was just ridiculously easy, think I'm in love!

I love Karcher - my vacuum is a Karcher wet and dry and I have just bought a. steam cleaner which has the window attachment thingy. Dad has a pressure washer too.

End of advert - and, no, I am not connected. to Karcher in any way!

Just been to The Lowry exhibition - brilliant - and the guy at the ticket desk is from Portsmouth!

Hi folks - just doing a catch-up of wht's been happening since I logged off yesterday.;)

Ditsykitchen the only time I looked at the “other” flylady site, I had to be coaxed out from under the table with a bowl of dog biscuits and a large brandy!:rotfl:

Here we recognise that different people will have different requirements – eg a house with several pre-teens will be totally different from my place, with just two adults and various visiting dogs! Also, dispensation is given to those of us with major health issues.:o

Though it has to be said that since the latest flare-up, which is far and away the worst I've ever experienced, I'm just pootling around doing what little bits I can do, whenever I feel well enough to do them, and my amazing and wonderful man is doing all the rest. I keep hoping I can get back to the above schedule, but frankly I'm not gonna hold my breath.:(

Ironically, one of the hardest things I find is taking me-time; I always feel incredibly guilty if I'm not at least attempting to do something useful, because I'm actually so totally and utterly useless these days. *cries*

I've just looked at the next few days' list in the PDA, and it seems that we need to turn the mattress this weekend (we do it every 8 weeks) – er.... I think Mr LW may have to do that on his own again.

Dusty what are wine berries, please? They sound nice!:o

Decogecko I'm so sorry the news for your friend wasn't good.:(

Valli (((HUG))) and a large glass of wine (for medicinal purposes).;) Earwigs give me the shudders, too.

Afternoon all.

I'm running on empty today. Terrible insomnia last night and was still awake at 6am when my alarm went off. So I put the radio on to listen to the news and promptly fell asleep until a friend text me at 9.15. I've got up, made bread (its on its second rise now), washed up twice and pottered around the net while decluttering programmes from the box

Dailies:
Wash up TFSS
Beds WTFSS
S&S Bathroom WTFSS
S&S Kitchen WTFSS

Work:
Decide on how many books to order for next campaign
Tax return
Shredding

Other:
Ironing
Purchase rest of uniform (jumper and I think trousers, shoes can wait another week until I have the extra £10 voucher *wink*)

Hoover the floors
Dust electricals, screens etc
Got an hour...
Hoover/wipe the sofas
Wipe the skirtings/lightshades and bulbs

Wednesday - Bathroom/downstairs toilet/Hall, Stairs, Landing
15 minutes...

Clean the toilets and sinks, shine those taps
Got 30 minutes to spare...
ME TIME
Have an hour...
Clear the floors and hoover and mop them, right into the manky corners
Clean the bath and/or shower - descale the head if required
Shine those mirrors and windows

Not sure how the rest of today will go. I just want to curl up and sleep atm. DD is still reading (not long started book 7 of the harry potter series) and I've said she's to have a bath when she's done and change her bed since she's spent the last 3 days laying on it in her pjs reading  I should really do some ironing, so I might set the ironing board up, and put one of my programmes on the lappy and iron for the duration of it. See how much I can achieve in 40min, you never know I may just be encouraged to carry on and clear the whole pile :rotfl:

Going to stick the dog's floor cushion in the washer once the current load is done. Don't think I'll get round to dusting the alarm, it was 'tested' recently though, when I burnt some toast :o

Cooo-eeee we're home! Am bushed, very little sleep, but had a great holiday and even managed a bit of a suntan! Go me! Not dared to open any cases yet but I guess I'll get on with that soon. House spotless other than a fine layer of dust :o

The garden, however... well I think I may have spotted a zebra on the lawn, but I'm not certain as the grass is soooo long :rotfl:
