have found a v good mortgage deal that i have started to apply for. need to complete and return form with supporting docs. totally fee free inc no legal fees/searches

so the £99 for nationwide fee can go to cc. fingers crossed its ok as its with first direct and the mortgage board suggests it is v hard to get accepted
in positive news if i am accepted then when the deal ends in 5 years i will be on a 73% LTV (assuming house price stays the same) so i can get better deals. thats without overpayments though so hopefully will be lower

so im now off work for a week :j got lots planned over the next few days

worked on friday night, over 5 hours overtime. works out around £100 so should be £60 after all deductions
get that in sept pay
yest i sent my mortgage app back and did 2 mystery shops. still need to type one up. also bought a few bits in city.
im off to a wedding thats on wed but need to travel there tue and back thur as its quite far away. will be back in afternoon on thur though.
unfortunately my mystery shopping cheque has still not arrived
as my post comes late i cant pop to bank before i leave on tue). means i wont be able to pay it in until thur or fri so it wont be paid off this month. a few other jobs i was expecting payment for also havent cleared so they will also be paid next month. looking to pay at least £900 off cc next month :T
so plans for the week-- cancel mag subs x 2
- paint front fence and finish back fence
- deep clean whole house inc wooden floors, under bed, windows etc...
- list a few items on work marketplace next weekend (brought lappy home to do this)
- finish shredding mountain (will take days as got a cheap shredder and it keeps overheating!)
- update mystery shoping spreadsheet with mileage etc...
- do tax return- did this thur night

- handwash clothes (one of which i wore 20 months ago
) - pot up 48 free lavender plugs in trays (3 trays for 60p in wilko
) - iron my clothes mountain
- take last of soil to tip
- clean inside car
- compare and buy home ins
- bit of painting inside house- touch up kitchen, bathroom ceiling and doorframe
- if i time list some of my clothes that dont fit on ebay. will keep the money in paypal acc to use to buy replacement clothes when more weight lost.
- go to gym 6 times by mon 2nd

so had a busy day yest! gym in morning, typed ms up, filled and sanded doorframe, touched up dining room and kitchen and did 2 coats on doorframe. also deep cleaned kitchen and made a sas casserole and a pot of chilli.
doorframe already looks so much better but its still uneven (its the frame where the old external wall was leading to the extension and the wood was cracked and uneven). may have to look into getting it skimmed next time i decorate the dining room.
today i will give doorframe the third coat of paint and paint the patch on my ensuite ceiling i missed when i last did it as it has been annoying me for 2 years when i lie in the bath
of course it will make the rest of the ceiling look off white but i cant be bothered to do it all
then need to nip into town to do one ms and get facewipes. its a jewellery ms where i need to buy something for around £45. will get it back next month hopefully and will flog on ebay. will keep it until nearer xmas i think depending on recent selling prices.
once back i am going to deep clean rest of downstairs as the dust from sanding the filler has gone absolutely everywhere!
back is killing from yesterdays sanding so just going to have a swim tonight. then will have a nice bath
no money saving news as waiting on the cheque and ms payments so no debt payments for at least a week
did list 3 dvd box sets on amazon last night. their fees are extortionate but list prices are way much higher than ebay. i undercut existing sellers so hopefully people that cba with ebay will buy mine on amazon! will list on ebay but waiting for next free listing as dont want to list at 99p (forgot it was free listing yesterday
) :j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j0 -
so small update. been working through a few things on the list. have finished front garden and it looks v nice
not going to do everything on list as wont have time so will finish next week.
in bad news my hamster died yesterday
she was really old though. she died in the carpark of the vets when i went to get her put down.
i also got declined for first direct mortgage which was expected. back to broker to go through woolwich now. hope fd return docs straight away.
wedding was lovely and stayed mostly on budget
so updates for august
ms earnt- £185
extra in wage earnt/claimed- £160 (paid next month)
debt paid off- £396 (would have been more but cheque didnt arrive in time).
money due sept-
£180 extra wage
£340 rent
£25 ebay (if no fee w/e)
£173 ms
£220 (balance in acc now)
total of £938 :T:j
as i need to now get woolwich mortgage will need to pay legal fees. broker got a deal for £299 inc all fees/searches etc.. and get £200 cashback. need to check if i need to pay £99 or all of it then get £200 back. so have kept money in current acc for now.
so should pay at least £800 of cc if i only have to pay £99 upfront :T
also got my home ins today- £109 for both, £1 more than last year but better cover. but got £50 m&s vouch! couldnt get the cashback through quidco as they needed to adjust my quote which couldnt be done online. vouch due end of nov so hope to sell it to someone that would be spending anyway :j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j0 -

just a small update. cheque cleared and ms reimbursement for some expensive products that were on my cc arrived. i have paid off both cc's now as had a few small items on.
looks like i will getting woolwich mortgage- they are doing the survey on friday :j hoping for a £4k increase in value as then i can get an 80% instead of 85% ltv and save 0.4% :j
decided not to pay money straight off cc and leave it in my current acc for now (just made min payment, 0% anyway). will need to pay £299 upfront for solicitors (they have already started doing it so as soon as the welcome pack arrives i imagine i will need to pay). imagine i will get the £200 cashback when my mortgage completes in december so can pay it off then. also if house has gone up say £3k i would like to pay £1k off my mortgage so can still get 80% ltv. cant pay any more than that so will depend on value. so building it up in current acc until i know what is going to happen.
currently £168 in there

so house has been valued, he asked what i wanted it to be and i told him so just waiting to see what the official amount is. discovered the balance on my mortgage on the credit report is incorrect by over £500 (less owing) :j will be borrowing around £400 less than thought
just need to get valuation figure to see if i will need to overpay.
think solicitors fees are not due until completion which is good
forgot to get OT form in in time so will not get until next month but will be getting around £330 take home OT in that pay
in other news i am hopefully getting a cat :j have reserved him and just got to wait for homevisit. obv this is going to be an expense but will be worth it! cat is £55 , catflap will be £70 (need microchip one as so many cats around here) and stuff will be around £60 ish i think. have worked out costs and cat will be around £35 per month in costs which includes a little put away for annual jabs and decent flea and worm stuff. very excited to get him, he is v cute
should have enough in debt account to cover all cat costs in full but will take it down to around £0. will then start to build it back up, leaving it in there till i know whether i will need to make an op to mortgage to get better ltv. as soon as i know i will start paying it straight off cc again:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j0
