simple, I changed my mind :D

They have a 28 day change of mind policy afterall

And the sign i mentioned above said that CS has the discretion to increase return window by a further 7 days

It's a very interesting written policy. Maybe marrbett could tell us if it's still in force...?

Hope it works as their policy says Asd Branded food items only, but I can't see why they wouldn't do other brands?

    http://your.asda.com/about-asda/exchanges-and-refunds

    Exchanges and refunds
We hope you are always happy with your Asda purchase; however, if you are not completely satisfied we are happy to… Exchange or Refund as per the policy below.

If you’re not completely satisfied with any Asda Brand food, Asda Brand non-edible grocery, or Asda Brand health & beauty product we will refund and replace the item for you. For all electrical items and accessories you have 28 days to change your mind. Products must be returned in their original packaging and in their original condition**; proof of purchase is required.

For those that can't see it properly, what it says in the first section is this:

    No receipt required:
    • All food (ambient, fresh and frozen)
    • Non Edible Grocery inc Health and Beauty
    • Home & Leisure
    • Optical - excluding prescription glasses and contact lenses

On the above products, offer an exchange or refund
Where there is no proof of purchase available, exchange or refund onto a gift card only
Customers can return these products if they change their mind
Products must be in their original condition
If a product is faulty or mis-described a customer has 1 year from purchase to return it to us (see inherent faults)

What good excuses can you all think of to take them back ?

You were asked to get them for your grand daughters b'day party, but it was the JC mini rolls you should have got

    Good afternoon :)

:( to all those that got caught out with the JCs. Was good whilst it lasted though

Good??? It wanna good, it was absolutely excellent;):rotfl::D (well, not I supposed compared to if we'd been paid to take them away). No more SP Jaffas on my M lists again - for a long time!

Albeit pious of me to say I said so (and I was even more cautious myself), commiserations to those who've ended up with the comp. to what must be Morries new price. I thought they now say these updates are done on Wednesdays (rather than Tuesdays as it was before) but, after I had something on me update earlier than expected last week, I've gone to being a cautious little mouse:o with no JCs in the system for me. Little bit sneaky of the updating to go back to Tuesday - thanks Aau1 for telling me of the 10am thing (I'm not sure if it is all bang-everything updates in a flash) but it's a sort of guide, I'd wait even longer if I'm relying on new Morries prices and shop even earlier if I want the old one.

Right - I've already moved onto a different focus - my battle with Mr T is ready to commence. I am taking my entire list with me (just in case the obscure items are unavailable) as I'm restricted to the smaller store. I'm liking A's more expensive items that are a different brand or range. Whether I'll like them if T compares...:(:(. [When I'm done I'll be back and able to transfer much of that list onto here.] Wish me good luck - or bad luck if you want after the JCs mess ups.:(
