Afterall, it IS their advertised policy to return goods onto a gift card so long as stocked in Sada, with or without a receipt

I beg to differ as the bit you linked to is only about whether you purchased from a fuel station shop or superstore.

Either way I'm 100% sure you'll get the refund whether it be cash or card.
