Tips for reducing heart burn in pregnancy
Comments
-
I have found Lovehearts and Refreshers help with heartburn and stomach acid.
One of their ingredients is bicarbonate of soda which is why they have a neutralising effect on the acid. I tend to buy a packet of these if I am out and about and the dreaded heartburn attacks.
At home I use bicarb a half a tsp in small amount of water. Sometimes I mix it with diet cola. Funnily enough I never suffered with heartburn until pregnant and have had it ever since (20 years later!). I do get some medication from the doctor for it also. Very painful condition.Grocery Challenge £139/240 until 31/01
