    Ninth Anniversary Combo Breaker
I'm not sure what the point of this would be - the deals they have aren't as good and there would still be inter-business relationships which, if they broke down, would lead to the service falling over.

I don't see the problem going through a reseller anyway people do this all the time in respect to
    1. Phones (mobile and fixed)
    2. Internet providers
    3. Gas & electricity
    4. Insurance
    5. etc etc - the list goes on....
It depends whether this will be your main email account? If it is then it could be much more important to you than any of these.

Email is used by so many organisations these days (often in pursuit of "paperless" billing or whatever) that if someone has control of your email account then they can probably control your online banking, social networking, logins to shopping sites (Amazon) etc. etc. If you forget a password then where does it get sent? Usually your email address...

Plus, if they wanted to, they can read all your emails (and indeed to fix problems they sometimes have to do this).

That's why I would want to pick an organisation that I trusted and not have too many organisations in the chain.

Also, the hassle of changing all the logins on every web site that knows your email shouldn't be underestimated. Many of us have given our emails to a lot of organisations.

So the costs and risks of picking a bad provider are quite different to any of those on the list above.

    Not really

The Directi Group developed and run the Logicboxes (logicboxes.com) platform that their resellerclub and bigrock brands are built on, so apart from being part of the same group their is no other link between resellerclub (reseller brand) and bigrocks (retail brand) but being a reselllerclub reseller you need to make sure that you have enough funds to cover what you clients are ordering especially if its recurring. I prefer a host that can set the same email hosting up on a simple cPanel server
  • Have you tried Mokum Mail, they do a Lite Package for you to try, but you need an email address from your ISP.

Our emails are never scanned, are ad free but then we do pay a bit more for our service.

Claranet Soho....https://www.clara.co.uk and it is here in England with a very helpful support if you have problems.

Still, I think the scenario you are talking about is fairly unlikely - if a company did "forget" to pay the company that supplies a critical part of their business they wouldn't be around long. That would be like forgetting to pay the electricity bill leading to the power to the data centre being cut off (which could even happen to your direct suppliers).

NO RC would suspend the resellers account and then remind them again to top up, while suspended non of the resellers client would have access to their services and if the reseller still does not topup after a period RC would just close down their account and any of the reseller clients would lose their services.

Ok, so how many times has this happened previously with the provider in question?
