I understand that the RSPCA are good at taking your money...

Central RSPCA headquarters, YES!!! But the local shelters and clinics and all self-funded and rely desperately on public donations and support. They don't receive ANY financial support whatsoever from funds donated to central RSPCA. Please don't confuse the two :)

Well lovely lady from rspca knocked here about 4.30pm, went through all of the tale again.
She was confused as to why when the rspca lad came on sat/sun, said he couldn't go in the back garden, as it wasn't trespassing. And he should have tried more to see the cat.
She spent ages at the back and front of the house, trying to make noises through the letterbox to coax the cat, to the door, as she said if she can't see it she can't force entry.
She couldn't understand why the lad who came sat/sun, didn't do this.

She is going to ring the housing association tomorrow morning and see what the girl said to them today, and ask them for a number for the girl to ring her up and see what's happened to the cat.

She thinks that they may have gone in and taken the cat, I told her about black box I put there, but she said that people are clever than you think. And that they may have sussed the box at the back of the door.
She's in the past put sellotape over the key hole and paper in the door, come back and people have been in and then put the paper and sellotape back.

But a neighbour has just told me that girl who works part time in the corner shop is my neighbours good friend, and that on tue night when we was all talking about the cat etc, it was mentioned in the shop, that night when the girl was working there, the neighbour is now wondering if she may have told her on tue night, about what was going on, and she's hot footed it down and taken the cat out.
This girl isn't in the shop till Friday, otherwise I would have gone over and asked her.

YES, YES, YES!!! That's what I meant. Sorry, should have been more explicit!

    Hi
Well I was at work till late last night, then out, so it was to dark when I got in to go round.
the rspca lady didn't ring me back yesterday, like she said she would, but she did according to the neighbour come back.

Just got in from work, been round the back and the black box has moved, and somebody has been in through the back door, as the pieces of paper the rspca woman put in the back door, was on the floor.

I've messaged the rspca to ask them what's going on, said they'll get back to me, I've rang housing association, as to what's going on again only answer is we've spoke to the lady who lives there, but we can't tell you anything..............

So all it's been for the past week is we can't do anything, and now were down to we can't tell you anything...........

No wonder you are annoyed. You have gone further than a lot of people in trying to get help. Many would have given up.

Let's just hope that the tenants have got wind of what has been going on and have now taken the cat to be looked after properly. We can only hope.

Well bit more of a up-date, which i'm happy and not happy with.

tonight housing officer and rspca woman turned up with joiner, who unlocked and when they left re-locked the door.

both housing officer and rspca woman were nice, the usual we can't tell you anything, but I was allowed to stand with them and listen to their conversation, and ask questions.

Some of it is a bit vague, as I didn't want to ask to many questions, but it seem that the girl has told the housing officer that she did leave the cat alone, and that she's been coming up every couple of days and feeding it, she's also told them a few other things, that didn't add up.
housing have spent all today ringing her mobile, they don't have a forwarding address for her, but mobile, and she's not answering, well she never answered the door when she was here, so she's not going to answer the phone, and tell them where she's living.

Open front door, took a while to push door open due to mail, I said to housing officer, told ya she'd not been here for weeks.
I knew I wasn't going to be allowed in, both rspca woman and housing officer was in for 10 mins, I satyed outside with joiner.

Then they came out, joiner put new key fob in door.

They were both very good and told me, that they are sure that the cat has been left in the house for a while, as the house has a lot of cat poo around it, then they asked about the dog, told her that she'd taken that, and they said that the house was also full of dog poo..........old dog poo.
Then they asked me which room did the little girl sleep in, I told them the small back room, the rspca woman told me that the upstairs is full of cat, dog and human poo, all over the floor and beds, she couldn't wait to get out.

But there is no sign of the cat, but signs that it's been there.

they have left the downstairs blinds open, and said feel free to take a look.................................:eek:
OMG I can't believe I've been living nextdoor to that, I knew she wasn't clean, but the state of the kitchen left all of us neighbours vomiting, there is mess everywhere, dirty places food all over the place, bin bags of rubbish piled up high, and poo everywhere.

Went round the back and the living room is no better.

She's given her tenancy up, thank god.

I will now make it my mission to find out where this dirty cow has moved to, won't take long with the powers of facebook, and I will report her to social services, because she has taken the dog and cat now, and if she can live like that in this house, then she can live like that in her new house, and she's a baby on the way. Rspca woman said I don't blame you.

God only knows what's happened to that poor cat, and the thought of it being in there for weeks, makes my stomach feel sick. but what's worse is the thought that for a few years that young girl has been living in that, dirt on her bed........:sad:

Good for you. I can't believe people can live in such squalor. I can't begin to image the smell in the house with animal and human crap.

Certainly no animal or child should have to live in those conditions.
