Had a accident

Op has said the dad is the policy holder, not that he's stated as the main driver.
So maybe op can answer the question of who is listed as the main driver before we jump to conclusions?
Well OP is online and not in a hurry to answer so jump is all I can do.
Easy to jump to conclusions when they have history of telling lies to the insurance company.0 -
Hi,
You guys really make a cute sore by rubbing it with a lemon don't you sorry history of telling lies ? , It was a oversight I mentioned it on the price comparison site just not on the privilege website, and I had recently bought the car and was waiting for the log book to arrive so i can put it in my dads name
I received a letter from Equity claims department asking for my insurance details dated 16th August how long will they take to send the second letter, I don't want to call them up and say I had no insurance then they would take legal action against me what can I do?
I'm sending out a complaint to the fso tomorrow0 -
Tell them your insurance details. If your policy is voided they will still deal with the third party claim. Then if they can pursue your dad to reimburse them.
Either way the third party won't be taking you to court.
You cannot put in a complaint to the fos at this stage. Read up on the complaints procedure in the policy and follow that.0 -
Make sure you SORN it or you will get a fineFeudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..0

The insurer said they will repudiate any claims so they won't pay out, why can't I complain I complained to privilege they rejected it and now am ready to send it to the fso.0

They may be able to repudiate claims, but they will still deal with the third party.
As previously posted, they may then turn their sights on your dad/you, but the third party will be dealt with by the insurer.
If you already exhausted the complaints procedure, then proceed to the fos.0 -
