Me toooooooooooooooo :j:j well when I say bought, I really mean won :rotfl: I dont do spending money on christmas :rotfl:

I think ive been very good this year, I didnt mention christmas :xmassmile until October! Sue-UU cant shout at me this year :D might be time to dust off the christmas CD for the car, I must be one of the few people in the world who loves to hear christmas songs in the supermarket while looking at halloween costumes :rotfl:

No pennies today, did find 7p roadkill in C0-op sat on the self service scanner of all places but gave it to DD as she has just moved on to green coloured reading books at school (which some of th year 2 kids are still on) despite being on watch for dyslexia, so thought she deserved it for her little pot instead :o

Ohhh lucky you, I couldn't win a comp even if I was the only entry :rotfl:
I must admit I do hate spending the money though. I go for as cheap as possible but looks expensive :T

£5 potted today as DS is unable to go to playschool this week due to being poorly so shall pot half of his fees.

Been AWOL for a while! No major pots, just a few here and there, exciting to see my little piggy filling up AND I found the funny little key to open its bottom the other day so I won't need to fish about with a knitting needle after all. It seems to take more coins than I thought it would so maybe won't need extra jam jar after all!

I'm pleased you're happy with it, Happybeingme, and what you've suggested above is fine. You may be a fair way from getting free of debt - but - you're well on the way and should be very proud of what you've achieved so far. Keep to your budget and don't spend unless you NEED to! ;) Your highlighted sentence above means a to to me also, everyone here too I'm sure, we all know what it's like to be in a similar position. Stay positive and you'll get there! :)

Thanks Sue-UU, I am pleased with what I've done so far. According to my current budget I should now be completely debt free by Dec 2016. I started my college course last week and all being well I should end up doing 2 years in total, this coincides nicely with DS2 finishing primary school. I have worked out that if I could save money elsewhere so I can make overpayments on the debt I could be debt-free by Aug 2015 instead. I plan to look for a job once I've finished college (I just have a little cleaning job at the moment but all that money goes to DS1 to get him to college). I'm rambling on but basically I would like to finish college and of cleared ALL the debt by the time DS2 finishes primary school.
  • Thank you for the lovely comments MissE001, little-sweetie and rosyq (and anyone else I missed!) I'm determined to keep on trying!

Potted a lovely shiny £2 coin this morning :D

Can't you tell DS1 to get a job to get him to college? I did a cleaning job when i was there. I did it mostly straight after college and even sometimes at the weekend. It didn't affect my work at all

    Hello...

You've all moved lol :D. A bit freaked out, but I found you all, mwah ha ha ha :rotfl: :D :rotfl:. I've been uber busy with little people, house, life, helping the lovely DW start her business, and now to get her shop ready :j. Still MSE'ing...Fixing: car (continually), washing machine, drying machine, phones, furniture etc. etc. etc. :rotfl: :D :rotfl:.
Still potting very slowly, as I promised myself I would, I tried to get at least a penny a day in there ;).
I hope you're all doing well, sorry I haven't had time to catch up on threads :(. A bit miffed with myself, about not getting on here, as much as I should .. But there we go, at least I've still been MSE'ing :A.
Going to have to get on here at least once a week to see how you're all doing, and to keep myself in check a little bit more :D.

    Happy Potting you lot .
