This includes potting lotto money when the price doubled also potting extra paper money when I could along with potting overtime money. Looks like all our trips in 2014 are well & truly paid for. :T
Thanks to everyone for the encouragement over the last few months re the neighbour thing going on.
Have a great day declaring your totals no matter howl large or how small.

Wow sparky that's amazing! Well done!

Thanks, Sue-UU, I think the 'Holding Pot' will be good for me. It's often the 'silly things' like having no smaller change for odds and ends at school or parking...maybe just the psychological thing of knowing it's there and that I can have it if I need/want to, will actually quell the need/desire somewhat.....a bit like dieting -- if you know you can't have it, you really really crave it, whereas if you know it's there and you CAN have it, it doesn't bother you so much and you can often go without, IYSWIM! It would also help to have a bit of discipline/routine, as in going to the bank once a week say, Friday, specifically to get bags of coins ready for next week, if they still do that...doing banking online means we rarely set foot in the bank these days.
So, a Holding Pot and a Sealed Pot...that's the way to go for me. :cool2:SPC 0930 -

Is it okay if i can use it now? It's just my mum saw a nice present for my nan that i wanted to buy so she's getting it for me and I have to pay her back ?
Darn sure you can, LeopardPrintsAndTea! You saved it now it's up to you what you use it for. I hope your Nan will be delighted with whatever it is. :grinheart
Donna that is an amazing amount!!!! :T It's so good as it shows, from the SPC 6 Target you set yourself that you were hell-bent on doing your very, very best...and by golly you succeeded!!!! :j I'm really chuffed for you. I've put your £500 Target on for you as requested, all the very best with getting that too!cdm wrote:So, a Holding Pot and a Sealed Pot...that's the way to go for me. :cool2:
I'm so glad the idea appeals to you, cdm, you're right about the diet part too; the 2 aren't that different at all. Don't worry banks aren't that dated yet, though I must admit, in-line banking is so good that the only time DH & I go in it's to get bags for the big count up! She looked at us and said "Do you bank with us?" Yes, my dear, it's been THAT long!! :rotfl: Have a good saving 2014, cdm! Please, EVERYONE, check that you have your Nos on your signatures! Many thanks.Sue x
