  • Hello Sue and Co :hello:

Just to let you know that I am still on board. Life has just got in the way of keeping up with you all this year but I have tried to pot as much as I can and can't believe we only have five more days till opening our pots. :j

    Good luck everyone

  • Hi all soooo excited. I am away Wed so decided to pot up today. I had £190 in my £1 and 50p and £39 in the small change pot. This makes £229. This is not as much as I thought but we have left the £2 tin for the summer and I think this has about £200 in it. A bit of a guess but it feels like it. We have bought all our Christmas presents and the £39 is for stamps and cards.
I can not thank Sue, Sparky and Co as I would have just spent this money and wasted it. I wish everyone started to do it as it could help so many people have a bit of a stash for Christmas. A bit early but I hope you all have a lovely Christmas. xx

  • Now do you honestly blame him, LC 2, he's probably not stopped running for the hills since reading it. Were you serious? You talk so much babble with j-mum that I'm never sure. :p Have you been chucked out of Warrington with an ASBO?? You'll get aother b****r in Liverpool...or was that why you moved in the first place?

    Oh Saint SUE

I'm sure that's not true his greatest dream would be to have me and Jakes-Mum as neighbours.!!!

Hi ALM, the new SPC 7 thread starts on Friday 29th November and I will be putting a link on this thread in the early hours of that day so everyone can find us easily.
Everyone is transferred across...yes...even jakes-mum :( and LC 2 :( so no worries about having to join up again or not being able to find people like.... jakes-mum :( and LC 2 :( Would you like me to put your Target on the first page by your name and number?
IF you wish to, you're quite welcome to add the money you already have saved with everyone else this year, or you have it as a start towards next year. Either way, you can save straight away - all new members can! Just a lurker?!! Come on and shout about how much you've potted, you'll find it encourages you much !

Sue, you ser just sooooooo kind. Yes Can you allocate me a number and I will saving from today, a week early but I hope you dont mind!

My target will be £500. Soooo going to smash this. :T
This will motivate me to clean out the household cars more to see if I can find any spare pennies haha. I might even pick up some road kill If I see any.
Any penny will be a prisoner now, no holding back!

    Thanks again

Thanks for the welcome Sue, £300 is a good target to aim for and if I meet it I will be very happy indeed. Things are tight as with a lot of people, but the odd pound coin here and there soon mounts up.

*wanders off to find a suitable tin*

Hello, can I join please? I have been saving in a pot £2 coins and another spare change, I'm not opening the £2 one til it's full, but the other one nearly is so looking forward to opening it on Thursday!! It's payday on Wednesday so will empty loose change out of my purse then and start counting!

Anything saved will go towards this month's higher than usual credit card (bloody christmas!) then into the house fund!

    Thank you :)

Of course you can join us, kjp. A very warm welcome to you. biggrin.gif Have fun saving and enjoy the banter. You'll find your number at the bottom of the list on post 5 of page 1. Please read through post 1 as it'll let you know exactly what to do with the challenge.

Please also subscribe to the thread by clicking on "Thread Tools" (lower green bar) and clicking "Subscribe to this thread"...or you may lose us! To put your SPC No on, go to "Quick Links" (right side of top green bar), click and then click on "Edit Signature" and you're away. ;)

*Please pop your numbers on your sigs, it really helps.

kjp, don't forget, you're most welcome to include what you've saved with us on Thursday, more exciting that way!!

Hi marco1dog, that is really splendid savings!!!! VERY well done indeed! :T No, you don't have to give your Total any more, it's all done now. From now on you just concentrate on filling your others for next year! :j A bit early maybe, but a very Merry Christmas to you also, have a wonderful time! :rudolf::xmassign: BTW, don't forget to include your £2 savings in next year's Total!!

Seriously, LC 2, are you honestly moving back to the Pool? Straight answer mind, no messing with the Saint. ;) What a thought, you one side of sparks and jakes-mum tother!!!! :rotfl:

ALM, I think there's been a slight misunderstanding, you're already a member - No 2113 - and it should be on your siggie! What I meant was, instead of waiting til next November to have some savings included that you could include what you've got next Thursday with the rest of us. Please, by all means do so IF you wish to. BTW, I've just added your £500 Target for next year!! :D

Well done, Heffi1, it's really great to see you back here.

Right I'm off to watch Strictly.
Please, EVERYONE, would you all check that you have your numbers on your siggies! Thanks.

Just FIVE more days to save, potters, make the most of em!

    Sue x

Anyone wishing to join, please just ask, you're more than welcome, it's NEVER too late. There may be a lot of us, but don't be shy, we're a lovely lot, so come on in.:grinheart

I've got £5 in my pocket, but I won't pot it as I've only got £25 left in the bank and that's got to cover the food shopping for a few days.

I haven't come across any change, so nothing to pot!
