    Hello:wave:

Just dropping in to say that I haven't completely forgotten about this challenge. Although admittedly I haven't done very well at all.

I kept raiding the pound coins for the kids clubs so halfway through the year I picked up a Morrisons saving stamp card and started putting putting my pound coins on there instead... I then just kept raiding the 10ps and 20ps lol.. In the end I decided to just stick with 1p, 2p, 5p in the pot:o

I have opened and counted my penny pot as I wanted to stick all the bagged up pennies in the bank this week and buy more stamps in order to fill the card or at least see how many squares were left so I could aim to fill them before Xmas food shopping ;)

I hope it is ok for me to do it this way:o but unfortunately it was literally the only way that it stopped me spending the £1 coins.

I will be better next year:cool:

    Mel x
Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better. It's not.

Theres nowt wrong with potting your selling money :D thats what having 'stuff' is for :rotfl:

£1.60 odd in the pot from change after DH went out to buy some screws for his helicopter (dont ask! seriously!)

I also have the £4 from selling DD's schoes but am just waiting for the lady to confirm they fit before I pot it as I said she could bring them back if they didnt.

I did have 10p change from the post but DD wanted a poppy so popped it in the donation tub instead :)

  • Well I'm back from Cornwall....and it's FREEZING in my Flat having been away since early Friday Morning and not having had any heating on while I've been away....so I've just stuck the heating on and hopefully will heat up soon....I'm sat here shaking!!

The Weekend was Sssssssoooooooooooooooo much fun!! We went to the Zoo yesterday which was brilliant...and the children really enjoyed themselves and were (mostly) good as gold....

But the Weekend cost a LOT less than expected...so I have saved some to put in the Bank and Potted £30.49....!! :j I think I will easily make the £350 mark now :D

Good to be back....but I think that this Weekend was good for my Soul...which can only be a good thing!! Hoping to go again in January if I can....
