Sealed Pot Challenge 6 ~ Part 2

Potted a couple of handfuls of change over the last week. Although I did count them the amount has flown right out of my mind. Is it just me or does everyone find their memories are getting worse? Dur! What was I talking about.........? :rotfl:

Morning all.
DreamerHelen - yes it is colder!!
Good luck with that £350 (I'm watching).
lynnejk - that "money tree" would be nice. A nice heavy cropper. lol
Potted 2 x £2 coins = £4 and put a 20p in holding pot.
£640+ potted and my pot is full and a struggle to get any more cash in the pot. The last £25 or so will have to into pot No. 2!!
Save, save, save these final weeks if you can.

Hi all,
I'd definitely like to join this challenge if that's ok?
I don't have a sealed pot however I have an old coffee jar I stick all my change in which I think is at about £90 since July. Once it gets to £100 I'm going to use this towards Christmas presents which it may do by the end of the month.
Can I sort of lurk for the end of this challenge and then join in properly on the 29th?

Hi Lis, of course you can. You are most welcome to join us. Please just read post no 1 carefully 'cos it explains how we do things, then our lovely leader Sue-uu will be along to allocate you your very own (must be polished regularly) SPC number. By lurking here until the end of the month you will not only get to know some potting tips but will see exactly how [STRIKE]mad [/STRIKE] sensible most of us are on here :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Prepare to be amazed by how much in total has been saved by our members...

Thank you crimson.addict and little_sweetie for the welcome.
I've got an old coffee jar for change and a big sweetie jar for the £2 challenge with spare empty coffee jars too in case I need them.
Having read through the first post properly and only skimming it previously I get what roadkill is now!
I'll definitely be on the hunt for tips for when the new challenge starts. At the moment I'm off sick so not spending a lot but any change I do get goes in the jar each day. Any advice is appreciated.
Just looking through you're all doing so well. Quite excited to see what I can save now
