My visit of he'll this week was to a chemist on a real sink estate. It was the only shop in the parade not boarded up and outside there were men hanging around with Chav dogs. Not a place to hang around in...

LOL, shouldn't laugh but that sounds like a small supermarket I did a couple of weeks ago. Only shop not boarded up in a row of about 10 shops and lads hanging around drinking the usual cheap, strong, lager. Wouldn't mind but it was only 10.30AM :(

Just over £7.50 to stand in the freezing cold for over six hours counting people?!?! No wonder those jobs are just sitting there! NO WAY!!!

Blimey. That must be a company I'm not with - I've never seen jobs like that for ...! That can't be serious, surely.

I've had the worst day. I've been doing open audits in small independent stores, and I was treated really quite badly by owners of a different ethnic origin (which doesn't make any difference to me at all), all of whom didn't want to let me do my work. They eye me with suspicion. I can usually brave these things out, but today, I've had so many totally unacceptable remarks (including asking what was under my suit) and requests for an after-hours number (what?!) that I need a glass of wine. Or bottle. Is it just me? I'm just trying to make a living without having to return to the career from hell, and I always look and behave professionally. Not a happy girl. *moan over* :(

I would report that kind of behaviour to the MS company, either directly or under the 'is there anything else we should know about this assignment' section. No-one has any right to harrass you whilst you are working, whether you're sefl-employed or not.

Fist please remove the fee, second I think you may be getting mixed up, the fee for those jobs is way more than that per hour.

Hi Big G. I have edited it, sorry about that I thought that as no name of the company or the MS company was mentioned it was okay. Will know not to do it again.
As for being mistaken about the fee, sadly I'm not. I took the overall total of the hours to be worked and divided it into the fee and that is what I got. As I said, that will be the reason it's been hanging around the board.

Yeah you can but, if for some reason it won't allow you, drop them a message through their website and ask them to change it for you.

I've done this in the past and they've always been very accommodating.

Brilliant, thanks. I've moved it by a couple of days by which point I hope I'll be feeling abit better! I'm glad that was so easy.

Was in a new burger joint in London earlier and saw a girl walk in brandishing her MarketForce assignment notes in her hand, bold as brass reading them in the queue. Left before she was served but I'd bet she still had them in her hand as she ordered. Idiot. So tempted to email MF and dobb her in!

Personally I think by not dobbing her in you are doing a massive disservice to all the people who do their job properly. She will be going around, taking assignments other people could have got, taking money other people could have earned and likely doing nothing for the client in return. These kind of people need to be weeded out!
