Why do some MS companies e-mail me for requests to do an assignment 100 miles away? I reply to them a max of 25 miles and list towns and cities within that radius and they ignore that. I have checked my settings on these websites and I have selected 20 or 25 miles, depending on the MS setting options.

I'm surprised you are still getting them...

I just got back from a failed beer job. The pub had no gas on the beer tap in question so no beer :(

Do I report it as a failed assignment or continue and tell them the beer was gasless?

Read the questionnaire or notes. I did a pub one before and I had to order a hot drink after my meal. The hot drink machine was broken. I ordered another drink from the list and explained. It was ok

Fed up of MF has they only are doing the beer jobs. All these places are only accessible by car and too late for me.

    Want something else.

Agree - it seems to be beer, beds, glasses or bookies on a never ending constant stream. I only look if am area on another job and it fits.

...aye and chicken shops, lots of different pub meals, pizzas, coffee, Italian/American meals, cheapo supermarkets, hotels, posh butties, pharmacies, bowling, hotel phone calls and bath rooms. A shocking choice...

I think MF (regardless of fee) have the most diverse range of jobs available at the minute...don't forget the odd holiday. :D

You may get these choices but when they come up in my area they are 30/40 miles away and the fees are not worth the travel.

There used to be loads of these. Never seen any hotel phone calls. If I do see any good ones, the date frame in which do it and the times recently, have been unsuitable for me.

Though if I am going to stay in a city for 1 or 2 night stay, I select that city 10 days before the trip, so hopefully may get a MS eating or drinking one. I live in S Yorks and I stayed in Liverpool last year and got my 2 lunches doing MS.:D;)
  • Does anyone know which MS companies has the restaurant chains with the salad cart and japanese/oriental food clients?

Love these two places and be even better if I was paid for eating my favourite food.

MF have a nice noodle eat in eat in place, not sure if there are many outside London.

RA have a Chinese restaurant chain but again might just be London.

'How do you feel about the client's product when it is served in a poncy glass?'
'I do not like it that way.'

'How do you feel about the client's product when it is served in a normal glass?'
'I do not like it that way.'

Proofreader query: 'These two answers contradict each other - please answer again.'
My response: 'There is no contradiction between these two answers - please read your own questionnaire.'

Proofreader: 'The only way that these two answers could be correct would be if you do not like the client's product, no matter how it is served'.
My response: 'I can confirm that is the case'.

    Jesus wept.
