  • I don't have an iPad so can't help with that problem, but speaking of RA... has anyone had one of the posh makeup jobs from them recently or have they lost that client? I've finally run out of my last tube and have had to resort to a supermarket brand... it's just not on!! :p

I haven't seen any, sorry, and do have lots of department stores in my area, so I guess I'd see 'em if they popped up.

When does RA pay? I've looked in the various threads and can't see the answer.
  • I'm not entirely sure if they have a fixed pay date, or if they just pay when each project is complete. I don't do a whole lot for them, in the absence of posh makeup :D, but what I have done seems to have been paid in dribs and drabs.

R A don't pay on a fixed date and you'll often get the fee and any reimbursement paid separately and just to confuse matters more they are sequential solutions on your bank statement!

Getting very tired of receiving reminder emails for EVERY MF job on the day of the visit. Most seem to demand a response too - to confirm that I'm going to do the job. OF COURSE I'M GOING TO DO THE ****ING JOB - THAT'S WHY I SELECTED IT. Have taken a policy of deleting them on sight, and not responding. I never signed-up for their spam.

I've think they seem to send them for certain jobs - I guess those are ones they often get let down on?

When I do the cheap supermarket jobs here at home I never get any emails but when I do the same jobs in the area where my family live, I always get email reminders. I got a bit annoyed the first time but just ignore it now.

Have never had any emails apart for those particular jobs in that area.

They are getting loads of jobs either dropped or just not done. Pay peanuts...
  • Fed up of MF has they only are doing the beer jobs. All these places are only accessible by car and too late for me.

    Want something else.
  • Why do some MS companies e-mail me for requests to do an assignment 100 miles away? I reply to them a max of 25 miles and list towns and cities within that radius and they ignore that. I have checked my settings on these websites and I have selected 20 or 25 miles, depending on the MS setting options.

I just got back from a failed beer job. The pub had no gas on the beer tap in question so no beer :(

Do I report it as a failed assignment or continue and tell them the beer was gasless?
