I'm with you on that one, I'm keeping myself out of mischief doing other work until the New Year.
A dream doesn't become reality through magic; it takes sweat, determination and hard work0 -
I'm winding right down, too busy in my other business and the Xmas lunches and events are coming thick and fast.
In a moment of utter madness agreed to do a furniture store though, normally wouldn't but it was with a MSC I don't do much for so thought I'd show some goodwill for future. Was fretting about it for a few days but joy of joys, got to the store and it's closed for refit. Never been so relieved to see a closed store lol! I don't need to go back either. OK wont get full fee but my time is money so avoided spending god knows how long in store.
With the Sassie minimum rating jobs, always worth contacting the MSC. There was a Bare visit I was interested in doing but hadn't done any work for them, I contacted them and said why I felt I was suitable for that assignment and they allocated it to me. It was not a naff job either, one of their designer clients.0 -

Presumably we would also have to lock the multitude of brand ambassadors waving testing strips around the place into some kind of cupboard so that they don't notice us. Sounds as much fun as trying to talk to a phone salesman at the moment
Who's got them? I'm in and about town next week.0 -

Paperwork
I understand about keeping receipts but do i have to keep all the assignment briefs and questions as they are filled in online anyway. Should I just keep the first page with the details etc.
Inundated with paper otherwise.0 -

I keep the briefs and questionnaires for six months and then dump. Some agencies say 3 months and some 6. I have only had one query going back 3 months so could really dump them after 3 months. I know what you mean though as right pain putting it through a shredder as get mountains of it.0 -
The thing is I don't really write on the questionnaires as the results are entered online. I often read the briefs online and don't bother printing everything.0

I don't print anything off. I make a note of anything unusual, questions I need to ask, stickers to look for etc. This I check before going into the store.
When I come out of the shop, I make a recording on my phone of all the salient points. Anything which would be scored as a negative is recorded along with names and descriptions. I have a folder on my PC for recordings and then I make a sub folder which it titled the date of the recordings. So for each day that I've mystery shopped there will be a corresponding folder for the recordings.
I also keep a spreadsheet with a list of all jobs, location, mystery shopping company, fee, reimbursements, expenses etc.
Before I did this felt like I was drowning in paperwork. I do around 150 jobs per month.0 -
Do you mean a video? Sounds good. . I use my phone to odd write notes.0
