TNS sent out an email that there was a fault with sassie

but it has since been corrected so it may have affected other companies that use it too

There had been an incidence of spam and the MSE techies were trying to fix it and something happened to the signatures. If you want to fix it you just go and re-do it in the User CP area, it should work. HTH
Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).

Without wishing to sound too harsh but if you failed the TNS test then maybe this work isn't for you as that is one of the easier tasks.

While I make it a point never to disagree with BG I will on this occasion. I have been Mystery Shopping for 9 months and have worked across the spectrum from Tern, MF, PIP etc. One month ago I applied to TNS and failed, I thought it was an mistake. So I applied with a different e-mail address and failed again. My wife, who has been shopping for 5 years also applied and failed. So I begin to wonder about the tester at TNS if you failed at TNS I would not worry, I would say that you are in good company. By the way I passed at Douglas Stafford etc.

I have been trying to join GAP but I get to the submit details part and it keeps saying your criteria does not meet our database.

Just wondering if there is a special trick to answering the questions i.e Do they not want you registered with other companies or be single or is it just a demographic thing

Cheers in advance for any replies.
  • To be fair, re TNS, all of the paragraphs are incorrect - or at the least, very poorly worded. I compared the different options in order to pick out the errors they meant to be there. As I remember, it was mainly the use of apostrophe's.

Ironically, I have noticed that the words they ask you to spell check are spelt incorrectly in most briefs. So I wouldn't beat yourself up too much.

[My apostrophe use above is deliberately incorrect!]

They used to only take on so many in one area, it could be that there are already enough shoppers in Mackemland.

Reassuringly the beer, burgers and other eating jobs haven't killed my blood sugar and cholesterol, according to my health check this morning. Perfect :)

OTOH, typing with a plaster over my finger is proving a challenge.
