Whoever mentioned time management in this thread hit the nail on the head.
I've been self employed four months now doing MS/retail auditing/merchandising and the last month has been the first where most days have gone to plan as I've just had to learn to keep to the '9 to 5' clock! Very easy to get into the vicious circle of going out to the next job 'in a bit' and then never doing it!0 -

Would anyone be willing to refer me so that i could hopefully successfully join
they have a filtered application
if you are not successful, a referral will not help you.
they have rejected your application for a reason, and it could be 1 of many.0 -
....on another note. Is anyone else heartily irritated by the strap lines on emails from the 'extremely confidential' 'strictly confidential' 'do not discuss on forums' company?
They are not being discussed here!
Truth is, the more it's discussed the bigger chance that any contract they have will be lost. Any issues I have with them (and I have done) I discuss with them. Whether they think you're being unreasonable or not they would rather you come to them than spout on this or any other forum.Well, you can tell by the way I use my walk

Ref Gap, it may just be that they already have a lot of shoppers in your area and not looking for more at the moment. Perhaps try again in 6 months.0

mm just shy of £2k in purchases this month
I usually use an amex corporate charge card where accepted or tesco credit card if not, and convert the amex points to nectar, and do the same with my fuel
any other shoppers have any tips to maximize from their compulsory purchases ?
(not a post to discuss briefs / jobs /fees etc)0 -
Everything goes on a card with loyalty points and paid off every month. Using a card normally also guarantees a receipt.0

Don't have anywhere close to as many compulsory purchases as you but I do make sure my MS Debit card is connected to the bank's cash back offers. Also you can link debit cards to Topcashback and Quidco as well. Won't make you rich, but every penny counts!Well, you can tell by the way I use my walk

Ouch, thats a big hit: mine is nearer £250
I use my Tesco card wherever I can and am getting a free trip to France on Eurotunnel with points earned over the summer.
I have a couple of golden rules regarding test purchases:
1) Never spend any more than you have to - but always try to get close to the client's threshold.
2) Try to get something you actually need (my larder is stuffed full of tins from German supermarket jobs)
3) Failing that, try to get something you can give away as a Xmas present (currently have loads of perfume for the girls and nice sports bags for the boys)
4) If all else fails, flog it on Ebay.
Now....... Does anyone know what I can do with six matching tiles from 6 Diy jobs? :rotfl:0
