Is anyone else getting a bit bored of the "Good Morning Team" emails from DS? Looks like they are getting a bit desperate.

I've got to admit, MS agencies are a bit bonkers. I phoned RE for £5 mileage on a visit that wouldn't shift. They said no. I got a telephone call back 10 minutes later saying "will you do it if we give you £10 mileage?". Obviously I agreed. Same scenario with ABAI. I know I shouldn't be complaining but am I missing something?

RE / Mfers tend to work on a fixed amount per mile, good advice about contacting the actual allocator that is shown on the assignment notes that you can view before accepting the visit.

Never had any luck with Abai so you have done well to get anything there lol!

Speaking of receipts, I've got a drinks only visit for the secret eating lot. Anyone know if a card receipt is ok or do I need an itemised? Not really a receipt sort of pub.

I had my report rejected because of this, it was a few months ago mind. I don't do those anymore apart from the rather nice one in Busby, far too much effort to eat a substandard meal in a not very nice pub for me.

They always struggle to fill jobs in Aberdeen and Inverness and I visit them quite often, I just offer and name the price I will do them for (I never go over the top mind)

Turns out they don't take cards anyway so I had to brass neck it and ask for a receipt. Happily this pub I used to drink in anyway and doesn't do food.

I know this has been said before but React are being really cheeky with the detail they're asking for in reports. Its just not worth it at the moment. :/

At least React give you space for the detail and don't ask for it but demand it in almost no characters.

    Goes back to Bonsai-ing report.

    :T

    Magnificent turn of phrase!

If you apply the same flair to their reports the MS co should pay you double.
    arghhh!!!

Thanks:) As long as they pay me.

But if they did give me more space they would get better reports and I wouldn't spend twice as long pruning the thing than writing it.

Two and a half hours in and I'm about half way through the second React
    report.

Newbie advice; Never underestimate the amount of time you're going to spend writing reports!

(I'm sure I read that somewhere when I started MS'ing but I couldn't find the post to quote)

Agree - had to drop their outdoor shop before my hols as the shop was going to take an hour and the report looked horrible and was running out of time on the day.

Has anyone else noticed React doing more self assign?
