Yup - happened to me last week!0

He said he was over here from Canada - hope they're not posting them from there!:o
That said I'm still chasing a missing cheque from April.... that they said had been posted yet has not appeared. I'm dealing with some one called Holly in Canada.
Never doing a job for them again!0 -

Thing is, whilst I find it a bit tedious, I appreciate that sometimes you have to confirm your timings but if they're going to ask me to confirm my timings, then don't waste my time getting me to confirm them when I submit the report.
Oh well, I suppose if I don't like it, then I shouldn't take the jobs but, whilst the premiums are good, it's an annoyance I can put up with.0 -

Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)
Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.

A text message would suffice. On days whee I am not doing stuff on the computer I don't tend to check my emails more than once a day so can easily miss a 2am email and not get to it until the evening or even the next day.
I suppose both the nature of our work and the 'digital age' in which we live in we are expected to check our emails regularly. I probably check mine as a minimum once an hour during the day and it tends to be the first thing I do in the morning in case there is an early alert!
I often get confirmation of times emails at 2am but they are on the other side of the world so it is what it is. At least the confirmation of timings doesn't take long to send. I put down the times and sign off, no conversation needed!
we put up with it because you might get a decent premium on a burger or a 'big' chicken or (almost) free groceries...
If someone could confirm this message...that would be grand.Well, you can tell by the way I use my walk

Oh, ace, bank charges
They should know whether their cheque has been cashed by now, there no reason why they can't issue another. What an epically shoddy company.0 -
I'm not going to whinge about timings, although I wish that company would take a leaf out of their own book and answer their emails.
So far, I've been chased three times (by another company) in order to complete feedback regarding four visits scheduled for today. How many times do I have to tell them that I can't complete the paperwork yet, as I haven't been able to leave the house, due to fact their courier hasn't turned up with the items I need in order to do the work? So much for early morning delivery.
In other news, I think I'll make some coffee.

I monitor my emails constantly seven days a week. I have never had a problem relying to a proof reader within the time scale.
I did however get a Friday night call from a Gap allocator asking me to do an urgent assignment on the Saturady, but rather than a premiun I was offered a 'Gold' job as well. Twice the work for half the pay, I was not impressed. Without the premiums, those jobs are not worth the calories.0 -

Is that the tactic now then? Offer another job to try and get you to do the ones that nobody has picked up? Can't imagine that would be very tempting. And as for the middle of the night jobs..I don't think I'll be doing those somehow
