What a great idea! Wish I'd thought of thatI did remember to ask for a receipt and couldn't see any additional instructions on how to submit it. I did think they could probably see the cost of the postage on the stamp so perhaps that's the way they did it.

Just curious, has anyone on this thread ever won the gap burger draw? I was (rather cynically) wondering if it really happens or if they just make the names up as a ploy to encourage us to take on the jobs
I notice there was an offer of joining the VIP list again today

Hi i'm quite new to MS'ing and have done 2 jobs with Gap. Both shops i've done, i received a follow up email at 2am to be completed within 12 hours "or you won't get paid".
That gives me til 2pm and if i'm at working i don't have time to be doing admin on a morning with kids to sort out. Is this their way of getting out of paying if you don't reply in time? It seems very underhand to me.Internet earnings:

I've done a few jobs for Gap I always submit my report the same day. All MS companies insist you complete the report the same day there are a few which allow 12 noon the next day.
You agree when you take on these jobs that you'll submit the report by an agreed time. If you don't some sites will automatically release the job and allow someone else the chance to do the job from what I understand.
I'm still new myself only being doing this a few weeks.0 -

Thanks that's good to know, i've been on my best behaviour being new and all but at least there is hope if i'm working on the day they send these "urgent" 2am emails :cool:Internet earnings:

Whereas I've failed to reply to an email within the required 12 hours only once (it was a Sunday morning! Those don't even EXIST! :rotfl:) and didn't get paid, so I wouldn't risk it.
Can you not send emails off your phone? Asking for confirmation is going to happen fairly regularly if you're outwith the target timings so it's best to keep the times saved on your phone or whatever with the assumption that you'll be asked again the next day.0
