    On another note. Does the ESA app work on your phone?
    I do have it working on my phone but TBH I find it a bit of faff and would not like to fill in one of their reports via that route. Easier IMHO to use a proper keyboard as too easy to hit the wrong key on the screen.

    I've tried it on iPad and an Android phone, not got it to work on either.
  • I would welcome some advice please.....

    I have always avoided MS assignments which involve Video recording because of the cost of buying the equipment. However I think its time to bite the bullet.

    I understand that I would need to buy decent-quality HD covert kit and it costs around £300- £400.

    Obviously, if I am spending this sort of money I need to ensure I get it right first time!

    I would be very grateful for any advice on what kit you guys use and which suppliers are reputable.

    Many thanks

    From this thread;

    "EQUIPMENT:
    They 'good' video MSing companies won't just take any old footage. Don't expect to be able to use your android phone or a cheapy from maplin. The most recommended/ accepted appears to be the Lawmate PV500 or PV500lite as sold by Dogcamsport. Cheaper alternatives are available, but CHECK with your prospective employers on their acceptibility and preferences. You'll also need a supply of good quality SD cards."

    Why do simple jobs on paper become a right 'faff'. Task pick up an item from a store. Ok seems simple - get to store, don't know anything about it, can you come back tomorrow and speak to admin. Return to store next day have rung store to confirm they have found it, then have to buy stationery items to package item. Take 5 snaps to satisfy end client that its been packed properly. Miss cut off for courier, so today have to go to drop off point where the staff have no idea and spend half hour trying to work out how to use courier system. Wont be picking one of those in hurry again as fee only covers one visit max...

    I did one choo choo job in full, 3 parts required for it - not doing that again for the fee but doing another because in my area and only requires 1, not 3 to be done....you are all correct, too much work involved for the fee involved if take one of the 3 part requirement assignments.

    Works on my iPhone and iPad reasonably well, I can book jobs and complete them whilst walking out the premises so they they're in my 'Pending payment' folder.
