  • I checked my profile and it still says that one lot of tickets have been validated and await payment, yet the others all say awaiting validation. Slightly odd, as all the tickets were sent back in the same envelope, attached to the proformas they wanted. I sense trouble ahead.

PS. It's nice to see you back, Mimi. Even though I'm a relative newbie (to posting, anyway) :)

Aww thanks. Glad to have been missed. Nice to see more posters. Keep it up.

I will chase the reimbursements for the tickets and postage up and let you know. If I don't call tomorrow, I will by Wednesday and let you all know the outcome.

PS. Josh off of ESA is an absolute darl when it comes to premiums. I say "I want mileage". He says "How much?". I quote a figure. He says "OK, I will put it in your inbox". Result or what? It doesn't have to be a cluster, I've done single visits with premiums too. I was not a fan of him before but he is excellent. Best to try and get to know an allocator with a few emails and never let them down. Then you can call the shots.

Thanks for the tip Mimi - love the way you know all the allocators by name :)

I'll be interested to hear what they say too. I only did one, for a relatively local ticket, because I'm skint at the moment! But the pay statement only shows the fee, so I'm still out of pocket. Glad I didn't do more; I'd be eating nowt but dry bread and porridge if I'd done some of those same day trips to the other end of the country. :D

Same here. I picked up a couple of local, cheap tickets, and my pay statement is only showing the fee, no ticket reimbursement. I have no doubt we'll get the ticket money back, but I'd rather it was this month than next.

See what happens, but last month the pay statement only showed the fee, but was revise to include the reimbursement before payment.

Hi people. Didn't manage to chase it up with ESA. However, I have just checked my bank account. A large sum has gone in so it looks like all the ticket visits that were OK'd have had the fees and the ticket prices and postage paid. Obviously will have to check the figures out properly. Hope this helps.
  • Regarding ESA - reimbursements have been paid including Credit card fee's and postage but fee's not included.

Do people here do a lot of work for IMS? I registered with them ages ago but have never actually done a job as nothing suitable came up. Today I picked up 2 jobs with the intention of doing them on Wednesday, nothing weird. But within 2 hours of picking them up, I have received 2 rude emails expressing disappointment that the project is running behind schedule and threatening non-payment. Not exactly a great start to our relationship, I found it really offputting. Should I persevere with them?
