I also submitted a photo of the refund receipt as I was not given back my original one. SA told me that they had to keep it unless I purchased two items but in that case I only bought one! Anyway, I took a photo of the original one and I entered the transaction number in the report. I checked with Ted that it was OK to submit just the refund receipt.
I must say the same happened with recent Bare bank visits when they required both business card and ATM receipts photos but there was just one photo link on the report web form. I checked with them and they said I could submit just business card photo and it was fine.0 -

Thanks for that, some useful info. there. Just goes to show that it's always worth asking isn't it. They aren't all pedants working at the MS companies although when reading some of the briefs it is easy to imagine so.0 -
I'm due to do an assignment today. The problem is, I have to make a small purchase and the venue I am going to doesn't sell anything!
I emailed the company on Wednesday to ask if I could do it without a purchase and haven't received a response.
What would you do:-
a) wait until I get a reply?
b) do it anyway and hope it goes through?
c) drop it - life is too short?0 -
Do you have a phone number of the company?
I had similar assignments with ESA (egg visits) and there were places where I could not purchase anything at all so they just accepted a photo.0 -
I got a reply about the receipt saying take a photo of the two receipts together . Lol I emailed back saying I would but they keep the receipt
The reply said they are changing reports to add two photos now.0 -
Have you all finished your drink visits? I went and did some of mine today, and I'm mystified as to how the company can suggest we use that bit of paper. I used my phone in a tiny little place with hardly any stock, went to buy a drink on way out, and was asked if I was planning to rob them later. Charming.

I took lots of photographs in the end, rather than use the form and zoomed in on the pics on the PC to get the prices and number of positions. Most of mine were 'shack's and there was no way you could have stood there with that paper filling it in. Whoever writes those briefs needs to try to do one them self. Also the brief was written around a large outlet such as a supermarket rather than a shack who stick stuff wherever rather than a set plan.0 -

What's the jammiest MS job you've ever had?
Thought this might be an interesting topic. I've had a few where you get to keep an expensive product (jewellery and makeup circa £40) but I've not found the items worth the price anyway.
The jammiest one I've ever done is a 4* hotel visit - made me very happy as it's something I could never have afforded! I got very lucky I think and refreshed the job board at right time!0
