Is it just me that doesnt expect instant payment on jobs ?
while its nice when it happens, even a few weeks but this is a business to business transaction and at that is rarely instant / quick payments
most of my jobs are paid on the last working day of the following month, that can mean that for jobs at the start of the month its 2 months/ 8-9 weeks before payment.. coupled with other jobs paying at various times means a constant flow but if something is delayed annoying as it is, i deal with it as long as the company keeps me updated.

and people are closing accounts because they didnt get paid in 6 ? try looking at the bigger picture, or sort your accounts cashflow

Couldn't agree more and whats more all payment information is displayed before you sign up to different mystery shopper databases. I seem to have a steady flow of payments throughout the month.

The customer next to you in the queue looks innocent enough. But instead of a shopping list, you notice she's carrying handwritten notes about the appearance and cleanliness of the store.

They're not doing a great job if they are having to write notes by hand in store and visibly carrying them....

Cue lots of sign ups as predicted, lots of people asking questions, the answers of which already on the first page, and people moaning about low fees, no 40k salaries, tax questions and late payments

Same as every other week then

I'm willing to bet 'Laura from Devon' never actually said she earned 40k.

I did one where I got to drive a very nice car recently -made my boyfriend suitably jealous :rotfl:

I've driven quite a few Porsche and even one Aston Martin. Loved the Aston Martin - it even had cold air to blow out of the seats in summer (it was a hot sticky day) and heated seats for the winter. It was a snip at £136K so I thought I'd buy 2 :rotfl:

Yet to some, mystery shopping is so attractive that "a few hundred people" every week are willing to spend up to two and a half hours filling in surveys at ukmysteryshopper.co.uk, just to be in with a chance of effectively winning a £100 mystery shop. "We make money when we sign people up via our surveys, we don't work for any brand we mystery shop," says spokeswoman Amy Mills. Within the surveys, she admits "there may be questions that if you select yes, you'll get text messages and there may be a charge for those messages".

Never heard of this company but definitely looks like one to avoid. Sounds like a scam - receiving text messages that you have to pay for.

Their website just screams dodgy. On the home page it says you will win £100 and then in the terms and conditions it says they will give you £20 for completing a survey AND then if you read the feedback on the home page the first commenter said they had a £10 voucher to spend. I wonder how much they paid the Guardian to have their website address in the article?
